Good news Parents have bought The House (SSTC)
Theirs being prepared for sale. Photographer been :)

Also Dad's carer & his GF are considering moving into the cottage that comes with the house - rent free in exchange for minimal housekeeping & care.

Such good news - fingers crossed the house sale goes live soon.

It would be such a wait off your mind if the carer will be in hand - would they do things like bed changing and the laundry - the big manual jobs?
    And who does the meals?

    Technical help please and thanks

Computer running very slow and I am getting so many adverts especially on MSM Question is how do I stop them ?

DS may know but we have been visiting them rather than them visiting us as kids have had lots of parties, fayres etc

I have no idea how the manage money wise

School fayre Kids make something and the parents can buy it at the fayre  £2 to buy 5 candy canes with a cheap white candle tied with the tiniest bit of ribbon GD explained it was really expensive to make and probably cost more than that

I always fear adblockers etc may impact on quidco/tcb tracking?

I have dropped my phone (no case) about 100 times onto concrete without it breaking but finally I did it again a few weeks ago and managed a tiny crack on one corenr of the screen thus meaning I could claim on the Nationwide insurance. They have only offered me 100 quid...but then when I was digging through the paperwork I found that it was 5 years old and after cashback by redemption had cost £68 including 2 years of airtime. Sadly such seals are no longer available for top of the range android handsets so the replacement will be sub100 chinese special from bang good or similar.

if you are forever bouncing phones off concrete you need an Otter phone case - very heavy duty, not cheap but money saving in the long run

Also today we went to Neros.
On the 0000002 app is an offer buy a cake get a hot drnk free. I studied the rules and I did a screen shot.

Neros do a very nice ginger slice, absolutley gorgeous for £2 and you can have a large hot chocolate with cream and sprinkles (£3.05 worth)
So the code took the £3.05 off and I paid the £2 with my Neros app. Everytime you use your Nero app you get a cracker. I opened this while I was at the till so I got a 2nd hot chocolate.

So 2 hot chocolates and a slice of ginger loaf to share for only £2 :T

Hi, I’m savvy sal’s sister. Sal’s not too good but she’s still fighting hard and asked me to pass on her best wishes.

give her lots of squashy hugs from everyone on the Elite, we are rooting for her :D

Our washing machine went kaput a week or so ago. New one coming tomorrow and old one being collected tomorrow. We just put it on a spin cycle to get rid of the excess water before pulling it out and unplugging it and we suddenly smelt burning and once we'd switched it off and opened the door, loads of smoke poured out of it

Thank goodness we were both in the kitchen at the time or that could have been so much worse!
