  • Whilst i was off after my op we bought some wallpaper from Laura Ashley to decorate the dinning room but then the sun shone for most of the summer so it hasn't been done yet. Anyway we are now thinking about moving so do not want to put £300 worth of wallpaper up, obviously.
LA is next to majestic so I took it back and explained but because it was more than 28 days ago they said I could only have £3 a roll back, very helpful......not.
I'm not sure whether to try the original store I bought them from. I'm happy with a credit note but does anyone know if this is a strict LA rule?
The two women in the store I was in yesterday were like those women in the clothes shop in pretty woman.

Or try and find a house with a similar dining room so you can take the wallpaper with you :)

Good Morning, has anyone got any experience with Easyjet hand luggage, wondering if they are very strict?

website says case can be 56 x 45 (including wheels & handle) my case is 56 x40 but if you count the wheels it is 58x40

we are flying Edinburgh to Krakow

    Thanks

Thanks very much for your replies, think I will risk taking the case, and hope we have friendly check in guys/gals.
If the worst happen and we have to pay, after DH has huffed and puffed for a little while, it will all be fine and we will get on with our holiday :D

Never had hand luggage checked with EJ :)

Think there will be lots more shopping around, back to milk from farmfoods 2 for xxx and Lidl/Aldi for bread

Will be really gutted if Lidl stop their weekend offers, well the cheese lol

I've just gone through my old receipt file and May 2017 has gone into the recycle bin. I did notice that we were shopping then for milk and bread and frozen veg in Farm Foods.

For a good few weeks before we were away we were enjoying the lovely Arla organic full fat milk with a nice bit of cashback from COS and Q so its been a shock since coming back to find £1.10 is the new standard price for milk.

We have rejoined the library so it makes sense now to go via farm foods for the milk and veg run again as other sources of saving money are drying up

Its funny how things go full circle.

I collected a few more wombles at the weekend so I've got about a fivers worth of vouchers to print off now - not tried yet

  • Oh no demise of the APG - didn't use that often as no As near me until 2 years ago. Nevertheless I enjoyed the thrill of an odd womble producing a decent return and Izzyb's shopping tips. Pity as have a bit more time to devote to such pursuits.

Off to Dentist with DS as he has sedation, then my turn tomorrow but I have a brilliant Dentist, his nurse gives a head massage when he gives you the injection, honestly hardly feel a thing and I am so relaxed.

Earn 100 points by becoming a frugalfoodie by being more mindful of food waste

    .
Food waste  not in this house, if we can't eat it the birds do :rotfl:
SA in sada said they don't and never had done, refunded (even onto a gift card) an item paid or partially paid with apgs. She wouldn't even let me exchange it for a different size and then promptly scribbled all over the bar code of the item and scrawled NOT TO BE GIVEN A REFUND PAID WITH APG all over the packaging:eek:
I was (as usual:)) very polite but shocked. This same SA gave me a refund 4 months ago on something that wasn't suitable partially paid for with apgs. I don't use many apgs but am now dreading using that £35 I wombled. Will have to try a further afield.
I used a £16+ apg on Monday and the S.A. never bated an eye lid so it would be worth trying a different A.

I think with the APG stuff, we will need to find out all dates etc of when we can last input receipts etc surely there must be cut of dates. I need to stock up on a few little bits esp tinned stuff. It has taken 5 days for me to claim my online apg. Which will be spent asap!!
