    Good morning everyone.

Bad news re APG. I have also printed all my larger ones and plan to spend them ASAP on store cupboard items, loo rolls, etc. Once it ends, I will use up from the house with inventive meals to try and get the freezer down to a more manageable level as they are all rammed full. I spend too much time shopping and waste a lot of time calling at A on my way home from work for a womble and hanging around the woopsie shelves until they are reduced getting home later than I should. It will be an opportunity to spend more time at home. I have a couple of years worth of some toiletries and cleaning items and enough gift sets for a couple of Xmas's so will start to get these used up as well to release some space in the loft.
Also, it will be better on our waist-lines as I certainly buy more glitch chocolates, although will miss the Waities comparisons when 75% off and in general eat more than I need to as I have i in the house.

it will cost more, but will be nice to get back to normality.

    Morning all

Thanks izzeyb This one is def for me for Christmas Think I have missed Tesco for the Toblerone and Maltesers

Last week I went to Lidl for the weekend offer thinking they had sold out quickly but I was only one week early

Yesterday when I was out this lady smiled and said hello I thought she was my SIL and had put on a bit of weight (don't see her often)

Went on to tell her about the old Auntie who died and she looked puzzled She was not my SIL and I am not who she thought I was. Gave us all a good laugh as we decided we had never met :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Enjoy your day

Well is it worth bothering with ending offers :rotfl:

Chocolate bars £1.97/£2.00 each or two for £3.00

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda/bundle-661179_2738647.html

Some of the cadbury bars would work out at around 88p each against !!!!!! or sainsbobs

Waities good comparisons for G&B ended 4/9 unless they roll over.

    .
    Oh cruel world:rotfl:

Well I haven't found anything on the news yet but I haven't been able to print anything out this morning so far and I've been up since 6.....yawn:)

I have not tried today. I printed mine on Monday but still have loads to print. Surely if we print them at the end of this month, they will have to honor the expiry date?

I suspect Asda will elaine, but maybe meet some resistance from one or two of the over-zealous SAs :)

I'm leaping out of lurkdom in shock! I would contact head office and complain about her attitude and also ask what is the policy.

I was refused a £2 gift card some time ago on an overcharged whoopsie. Queried it and she checked with a supervisor and the supervisor said she was right. Head office sent me a gift card and must have said something to the store as over a fortnight later the same SA was at the till and said she had been looking out for me and wanted to tell me that she had been wrong. She promptly took £2 off my shopping! I was gobsmacked and delighted! That is really good customer service.

It's more than good customer service it's a miracle :D Birkenhead we're always ok when I went there Josie Ann

    Good Morning all :)

They might do it by stealth and just grind the whole thing to a halt.

  • Good morning.

Sorry to hear your sad news Rose.

Thanks Scamps I picked my wine up from majestic yesterday. Has anyone tried The Guv'nor red from there? Theres a £30 off voucher in their mailing which would make it £4.22 a bottle. Now they do say you can return any wine that you do not like but I'm not sure if that would still stand if I cancelled my concierge package.
It's red though so I'm sure dh would drink it .
