  • Well, just got in from doing a bit of overdue weeding - I have a stray tomato plant growing amongst my shrubs & trees! I have lived in this house for 21 months now & have not grown tomatoes here. Can the seeds be carried by birds? If not then I don't have a clue how it got here ....

Have you added compost around your shrubs and trees?

Nope, got all the undergrowth cleared last summer, done nothing but weeding since. It has just appeared out of nowhere :)

Anything could have carried that seed, be it bird or mouse or anything in between, or it could even have been dormant in the earth from the previous owner. Strange things appear from nowhere in my garden on a regular basis :rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry been out at friends for a rare night out and my battery went! In my local stores they only had the shampoo conditioner and thickening serum stuff, but yes all three of those were scanning at 55p each, in 3 different stores!
So can't see why the other two in the range wouldn't...
I guess just clearing out the blue ones in the range
I hope you get some bargains! X:T

    Thank you Ashley:T

I took one first to the till to check and it was the bloomin store manager who served me and she refused to let me have it.

So I went and collected all the rest and went to the pharmacy till where they put them through no problem:D

    50p each

Tomato seeds are very hardy. Did you know that they flourish around sewage treatment works:eek::eek: When we eat tomatoes the seeds cannot be digested and pass straight through us.....only to reappear later.

I'll say no more .....people might be eating:)
