    Not quite true !

The horse has long bolted (took one look at TM with her granola worn teeth) on the really good offer which was available until late July effectively giving an AER of 6.95% on £1k.

Yeah, I missed the sultana offer but this another robofund one - you just need to tell them that you are super risk adverse and the low volatility means you will come out well ahead once you factor in the bonus. Last one I did is up 0.5% after 4 months which is the biggest change during the whole period and the 100 cashback has paid out so I can now bring the funds back to a regular savings account.
    I think....
  • More ice cream on Wontoooooooo. :j
  • From the Ts&Cs it looks like there'll be a free bottle of Pinot from Majestic on Friday through Wontooo.

    Good morning everyone.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, although it was a horrible day. Dad had a bad attack yesterday while on the toilet, he couldnt breathe and the oxygen just wasnt getting through fast enough for him, he is only 65 so young to be struggling with his breathing but this disease he has (the same one Katie Prices mum has been diagnosed with), is really progressing.

    Have a good day everyone.

Mine has done Zero for us and I mean nothing. :(

    Morning peeps.

I don't feel im doing anymore than anyone would do in the same situation...

to be honest in the evening its quite pleasant to sit on the balcony albeit small and people watch... they are on a main pedestrian thoroughfare from the tube station, with a coffee or glass of wine. I certainly wouldn't be doing that in my own home, and although I have the 2 boys all day I don't have any household stress or jobs to do. so I feel I have the best of both worlds.
I just have to bite my tongue and people watch far more than I would like, but heyho the gds make up for that:)

no I didn't have any help from anyone when my children were young, but unlike many parents today I was a stay at home mum, and had a little evening job to help out with the money situation

Yah I am now reconnected to the internet.

It was amazing how many times I went to check things before planning to buy.

Not likely to be able to read back properly. So will just skim.

    See you all laters :D

    Morning peeps.

Our in-laws had the kids for a week at a time, but we moved far enough away that we didn't have to put up with their very differing opinions.

I had a go at MiL once for leaving a knife on the edge of the worktop within reach, her answer was that they will soon learn to leave alone if they cut themselves, I said that it could just as easily kill them then how could they learn, and I was accused of being overdramatic!

I put a stop to our son going there after the first year, we had left a booster seat and shown them how to strap it into the front seat etc. They didn't agree with seatbelts at the time. Anyway, went to pick him up and the booster was in the back seat. They had decided it was better to have him in the back seat on his booster seat with MiL sitting next to him. Apparently she would have caught him if they had had an accident (no rear seatbelts):mad::mad: He didn't go down again until they had a car with rear seatbelts and absolutely promised to strap him in.

I have always been rather glad that we were far enough away, she liked to tell us how to do things, and hers was always the "right" way of doing things, including the booster seat incident.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
