That's my problem too! Can't leave a bargain in a Charity shop!

I always thought that I had adequate 'clothes storage' wardrobes, drawers etc, but since I retired the one thing I am on top of is the laundry, and particularly in the fine weather. Our 'storage ' coped with one third in the laundry basket, one third in the ironing basket and the rest put away. I now have nothing in the ironing basket:j:j very little in the laundry baskets and too much to put away!
I'm trying to keep to 1 in at least 1 out, but :o

About 6 years ago, my new year resolution was to get rid of 10 items a week.
I've done this every week since but my house is still packed full of stuff......

We made the mistake of boarding out the loft:o
So even when I think I've got rid of a couple of things I remember that the grumpy one keeps putting more 'stuff' up there.

It is quite sad that I feel happy if we break a cup or a glass, 'cos I think there's one less item in this house!
Got new cutlery coming from M&S tomorrow so what do I do with the old stuff?? Keep it for DG1 when she leaves home..? She's 14!

Think I should donate to my housing support charity!

I spent an hour down the M&S sale, did not find a single thing. Have to admit that a lot of larger women would be well done for there, they had packs of five pairs of knickers for 79p for size 28! It is not a good sale for a size 12 :(

I found 2 pairs of shoes this morning in my boot from S sale that should have been returned weeks ago!
Think I need a sort out.

I took 3 bags of stuff to the charity shop on Tuesday but managed to come out with another bag of stuff! Next time I'm going to leave my bags at the door and not even go into the shop.

I bought 2 pairs of tiny shoes this morning for Tinyshoes :D

I spent an hour and a bit at the one in town and found 3 random size 12s, a shirt, and 2 fancy tops, all couple pound each. :T But I was there early I had only gone to take something back. Like you most of the sale stuff was big sizes 20+.

Spent couple of hours in the other store, nothing for me there except the shoes, I was trying to get a suit for Mr TS but I couldn't find a matching jacket and trousers in his size only one or the other. Would have been fantastic, some people were hitting lucky, the suits should have been £199.

I found a Gareth Southgate suit jacket in the right size but they only had trousers in 30" waist, no good for Mr TS.

No knickers for me in either store I visited today, and I could have done with some, not even any bras in my size but I guess I do have enough. But I managed to get high impact sports bras in each store for DD2 and DD3 down from £25ish to £2.49 :money: Also managed to get DD2 a size 10 sports swimming costume to match her sports bra. Not sure why they have matching as you wouldn't wear them at the same time would you.

I don't know TS, you see plenty of men wearing boxer shorts under swimming trunks, so why not bras under cosies
