I think you did yours a day or so before me - I suppose anything quicker than 3 weeks is good and I am hoping mine will arrive by the end of next week. Hope springs eternal !

If anybody is in Waitrose today have a look out for their slab chocolate bars (90g) which they are selling off at 50p each (were £2.50 )
It's a shelf label so should national (as it's also on their website)
They are really rather nice
Ooo, lovely. I'll have to pop in there on my way into town to pick up my Wuntu ice cream. :beer:0 -
Good afternoon!
You probably knew this already, but in addition to introducing a . In your gmail email address or changing the end to googlemail.com, you can introduce multiple . Eg A.n.o.n@gmail.com, or indeed A.n.o.n@googlemail.com and it still comes through to your main account. I have tried 3 . so far. This may be useful if you are in a rush to sign up for any particular offers but need to keep track of any emails coming through.

I had no idea! This sounds very useful, thank you.0 -
Top tip ... if you are signing up for N0wTeeVee sticks at well known theme parks .. it seems the identifier is email only, not the payment card if the pass is cancelled
. I have heard if you mention you have more than one tv and query how you could watch on both tvs, some promo staff may give you more than one box
. Some locations have more than one stand and multiple staff ...
We may, *cough* have a few.
I hear L3g0land is lovely at this time of year ...

My mother in law has been in care for 2 years but took a turn for the worse 4 weeks ago and has been in hospital. Social worker came yesterday and we all went for a meeting. Her care home says she cant go back as she is less mobile ( although she has been like that for at least a year ) so social worker is looking for another home. She is basically bedbound, has a cathether in ( which may be removed ) and they are having trouble getting her heart to work properly and a bedsore.
However they say she has no medical issues so NHS wont fund her care. What a joke. I have never seen anyone so ill who was not a few days from death. Then care home called and said her room needs emptying asap.
very sad
It's so sad and so unfair, I feel for you and your poor M i L. getting funding for medical issues is a minefield and very complex.
I fail to see why people who have been careful all their life and have some capital in the form of a house/savings are the ones who are worse off in these situations, in nearly every case. Someone else who has had the same income during their life, but spent every penny will get the care they need completely free
Do you have an advocate or someone you can pay for advice? Have you checked all the criteria for a medical assessment on the Gov Website ?
sorry can,t be of more help at the moment as dealing with 111 as Mum is in severe pain and doctors phone lines are down !0 -

2 types of wipes, so a total of 3 items. Get the walkers 3 4 £3 with the tommy saucey and that will make 5 visible items, all vs T. Is there anything else that can be added to get the 8/9 items?

Dum Dum forgot the free cinema ticket sweets, so possible 8+

Hello everyone. RL exhausting. Can I go back on holiday please?!
But thanks for the info re the T mags. I picked one up on Saturday and just assumed it was the wrong one. But after catching up yesterday I looked more carefully and picked up a few more today. It's quite remarkable how many went between Saturday morning and now!0 -
Re passport. I posted Mum's at the airport as I went on holiday. It was ready in less than a fortnight and, sure enough, was on the doormat when I came home.
It has only just occurred to me that they have stopped asking for passport photos to be countersigned by a doctor or sundry others.0 -
