Mr TS is hopeless.
I ordered some Starbucks ground coffee from Approved Foods last month, forgetting that the packs usually come with a free latte. He pointed it out to me excitedly, as £1.49 for pack of coffee and a free latte is very bargainous. :money:
But do you know what he has done when the pack was finished?
Yep thrown the pack away. And no I can't retrieve it from the bin as it was when we were at the festival at the weekend...

Ah it's the free gift I got this morning for buying 3 hair care products. The SD own dry shampoos are half price and BOGOF at the moment, so order 4 for max discount and the free gift. :T
It looks like it only adds one free gift for the first 3 hair care so no extras if you order 6 of the dry shampoos...0 -

Thanks mhoc but going to sit on my hands for that one.
I tried a code from vouchercodes a moment ago, 20% off local deals on Groupon that's not working for me, it won't let me click to apply the code on groupon once I have copied and pasted it from VC.0 -

Its worth having spare Groupon accounts with your spare emails and just not using them eg if you have a googlemail address and use the splitting up method.
I've had a £5 costa voucher for a £1 spend and a few Tesco evoucher offers - spend £5 get a £10 Tesco e voucher - offers sent to my spare groupon accounts that are dormant“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. From Waitrose - the nice man in Waitrose said it was due in the autumn but he said he wasn't sure so it looks like they have brought it forward
We have one set of cups for one car but not for the other - really could do with 2 sets. Its going to take time to retrain ourselves like with the reusuable bags
I still am not sure how they are going to police this. Normally we take the shopping to the car and then come back into store to do the coffees, our cups in our hands. Our store has a little seating area outside
But you could quite easily just walk into store with your reusuable cup and not even make a purchase - I cant see them having a member of staff at the coffee machines checking everyones for a receipt
"As you may remember we wrote to you recently about our plans to remove takeaway coffee cups from all our stores. This is part of our commitment to reduce the amount of plastic and packaging we use.
It’s worth the effort. Making this change will prevent the use of 52 million takeaway cups a year and help protect the environment.
We’ve already made good progress and removed disposable cups from 18 stores. And now we want to let you know that from Monday 30 July, takeaway cups will be progressively removed from the large proportion of our remaining shops (excluding little Waitrose at Shell). This will affect stores in your area.
We’re still delighted to offer you a free hot drink whenever you shop with us. All we ask is that you bring in your own reusable cup and swipe your myWaitrose card at the checkout, each time you visit.
Best wishes,
The myWaitrose team“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
