    Morning all - we had more rain in the early hours so the temp was down to 12 degrees this morning and starting to rise now up to 14 degrees- I need to run outside and do stuff while its this cool

    Marks Sparks - if you have not done so check your list of offers. On 2 of my cards is a £5 off jeans offer but it finishes today

    I had a look at the sale rail yesterday, masses of stuff and some that were very heavily reduced - under the £10 mark but the materials of everything felt so horrible.

    The Marks meal deal is again £12 this week with a very restrictive menu - mostly chicken. You get 2 sides though

    The only issues I have had was trying to use in a service station as they are not on the same toll system. Main cafes should accept them without issue - and yes you can mix the gift card and cash. It seems you were trouted.

    Exactly!

    So I messaged Costa via FB with all of the details and they also said there should have been no problems taking an e voucher so they asked for further details of the transactions - I said I am sure I recognized some of the team from Friday who were also working on Sunday, it made no sense that a voucher was accepted on Friday and point blank refused on Sunday. I sent them a snap of my receipt and costa card and they put £4 of points onto my costa card :T
    I ought to redress the balance now to restore karma by finding a company to compliment but it is very difficult to think of anything outstanding - I thought I had the perfect company - London Northwestern railway trains. I had to visit a loo on one of their trains yesterday and it smelt very fresh (as opposed to Virgin train loos which are beyond rank) so obviously freshly cleaned. No loo paper though :( thankfully us ladies always carry tissues

    Good morning all

    I just lost a post

    £world is closing our store tomorrow Assistant advised another customer that all left over stock would be BOGOF I was very happy with my 10 red/cream hamper baskets 45p each No idea what I will do with them yet :rotfl

    Enjoy your day

    The pound world store at Broughton was closing on Sunday and it was fill a carrier bag for £2 there so it looks like the stores will have different closing day offers. I wasn’t even tempted to go in and have a look let alone buy anything:)

    Good morning everyone :wave::wave:

    Its always been £10. Then they decided to experiment with a much smaller menu and a bottle of fizz for £12 and now its £12 with 2 sides - I think this is the way ahead ....
    But I think people will then start to drift away - start looking for alternatives eg the mr T or sainsbobs meal deals to see if the choice is better for £10 ...or take their £10 to Aldi and invent their own meal deal - they do a very nice tuscan pasta bake for £4, very nice thick dessert yogurts, salads and a wider choice of wine ....

    Mhoc your spot on about Aldi, the Tuscan bake is very nice as is the meatball meal of the same range, as we don't drink wine I find it's more:money: for us to get a ready meal in there., they sell a frozen flat bread, around £1.50 price, the chicken and mango is lovely as a side.
