Im used to no replies. I have replied to MHOC twice about her knives, and she never replies to me. That poor ignore button must be well worn out ;):p

    Anyway, G I N
Now I have the attention of the ones who dont have me on ignore :D I am making a gin hamper. I have a couple of nice glasses, loads of bottles of fever tree tonic, some gin (obvs) and going t put a lemon and cucumber in nearer the time. I am also trying to get some fever tree stirrers and beer mats to put in, any clues what else I could put in please? TIA

I am not ignoring you, I was contemplating on the many and varied options :)

What is the budget on this Gin hamper?

I will just (when I've caught up with the sheninigans of today ) go and find the links to 2 things I ordered from Amazon yesterday - one was a cocktail set and the other some Hi ball glasses (these are not arriving until Wednesday so I dont know what the quality is like yet )

These were recommended to me by Eldest child, trendy 20 something so she should know :)

Morribobs have Bombay Sapphire for £14, and gordons and Bombay 2 for £22.

Thank you for this. I must go and see if that conditional spend offer they sent me is still valid...
  • Thank you for info Seren but unfortunately I'm too far from border:(

    That's really annoying. :(

Their eligibility area confuses me a bit as I am allowed to go on all trains or buses as far south as Chester with it, also as far north as Ormskirk which I think is technically Lancashire, and then north-west as far as Southport. So you'd think people within those areas would be allowed it also.

I'm assuming in all cases I'm also allowed the return journey...

It's handy for going into the city, I can be there in 18 mins, but mostly I just use it for town to save parking. I'm just glad I have it as a Plan B in case I had to give up the car for some reason.

Received new JL cake and hot drink vouchers x2 in the post today.

Also breakfast including a hot drink for £4.....never seen that one before

    Breakfast for £4 sounds good.

Just used our JL cake vouchers this week - these expire 27/11 if anyone is still clinging to theirs and thinking they have until the end of the month :)

I was actually looking for something else at the time but it's amazing how other peoples present wishlists seem to be easier to find than mine.

Although I did do a tassimo order this morning so I have joined in on black friday.....

I now need pukka pads....but not pink or purple...more blue or black!

    Good fun, isn't it? :D

My mid-afternoon snack today cost 1p - half a tub of free Fage yoghurt with half a banana (which were 11p for five rtc.)

Last night I had two good sized pieces of sea bass rtc 90p with a slice of bread and butter, absolutely gorgeous, followed by free Ooola raspberry and choc mousse (which are very nice but seriously not worth paying full price for, ever)
Lol, it is good fun, but thankfully we're not reliant on it.

What do you think of the specs on the dash cam, please. Can't find reviews on it but ds2 said you can get it for a river in China so put me off ordering but I really need to get one for an Xmas present for someone.:)

THis is something we desperatley need but like you I am very confused - i try to read the reviews on the darkside and get even more muddled.
Oh said he does not want black wires trailing all over the windscreen
Also his mate seems to have in his car some sort of extension lead with 4 gangs, sits on the passenger floor and everythng is plugged in, all chargers and cables, very messy - again something wr dont want ...
