If it was an Asda 12 for £x offer it would glitch, but as it's a Tesco offer it's just a very good comparison :)

No need to buy 24, could just buy 12 (not more than 10 same flavour). They will cost £6.72 in Asda, £4.02 APG, so £2.70 for 12.

... or just buy in Tesco for £3 if you've one nearby :)

This money management app might be of use to someone - maybe if you juggle a few accounts eg a joint one for bills and another one for general household spends and for both you have a very tight fixed budget each month so you need to keep a very careful track of your spending.
It looks very nice and clear, takes off the upcoming bills that are due and gives you a spending figure and tells you how long until payday.
There is also a credit card with cashback and a fixed rate saver - more like a bond with only one deposit and no withdrawals.

I only mentioned the Romania thing as that's why she is living in one room as Mum has a few Romanian carer's who are over here on their own and families are back there. But she has got divorced and so child has suddenly arrived. Carer doesnt know Mum has this idea yet but Mum is a sucker for a sob story. Yes I agree that a child in the house is a bad idea. Re night care Mum doesnt want to pay as its not cheap and although all her other care is funded night care wouldnt be. I have had a bad few weeks with her as one night she fell out of bed at 2.30am and the ambulance didnt come till 5.30 am. She was not hurt but she weighs a lot and I cant lift her. She also spent a week in hospital last month. Sis been home while I have been away and as usual she left Mum with a cut leg which will take weeks to heal ( happens every time )
Also last month I went ot Nice for a few days with my sisters and brothers were told they were in charge. 1st night there had a call from careline at 10.30pm even though I told them I was away. I told them who to call. It appears she could not turn off telly as my brothers grandchildren go in there and fiddly with the remotes!! Then careline phones back to say they didnt need to come. Anyway there then ensued a load of calls from other brother who had been called demanding my huisband go and sort it. Unbeleivably he called my son in London for hubbies mobile and then called and was really abusive, In the end he went to Mums at 12.30 am by which time she had gone to bed!!. I had to take a valium to sleep and my 4 days away were ruined. I have now blocked him on my phone and facebook as he sent me a very abusivre text about my family and that I had profited from looking after Mum and dad for 8 years !!!

Has he no idea of the stress you have been through looking after your mum :mad:

I would have been furious, as for the idea of you profiting from looking after her, if that's what he thinks he should try looking after her the way you have
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

On another subject that I would like peoples opinions on. As you know I spend some time looking after my 92 year old mum. shes had a few falls recently and its getting difficult her being there on her own at night as thats when she falls. Just back from my job away and she said she has a carer from the agency with a small child who lives in one room ( she is recently here from Romania and her child has just arrived) and Mum thought she might offer her accomodation so she has someone there at night.
I think its not a very good idea what does everyone else think?

I would def say no, would a 2 yr old want a chils under there feet full time? I dont think so:o
