What a great idea! I had something similar for Rebecca when she was a pup, just in case.
An article reviewing some of them for your perusal TM.

One other thing - how does she know the carer lives in one room? Not saying she would lie, but equally not saying she would not, she could be preparing to work a scam. It happens.
Also, I have heard of people "sharing" children in order to get family allowance and to con their way into peoples lives.
It might be a quite legitimate situation, but, apart from anything else, I do not think it is a good idea for a small child to be running around under your mum's feet.
This is nothing to do with her being from Romania, I wouldn't trust anyone that I had known for such a short while to live under my roof with a young child. The amount of times I have heard sob stories that have turned out to be totally untrue is ridiculous.
Maybe she needs to talk to the agency for a trusted carer to be there overnight? Preferably without children? Doesn't have to live in, could be the same as night work. Surely an overnight carer should not be asleep anyway, may not hear it your mum has a fall.
I only mentioned the Romania thing as that's why she is living in one room as Mum has a few Romanian carer's who are over here on their own and families are back there. But she has got divorced and so child has suddenly arrived. Carer doesnt know Mum has this idea yet but Mum is a sucker for a sob story. Yes I agree that a child in the house is a bad idea. Re night care Mum doesnt want to pay as its not cheap and although all her other care is funded night care wouldnt be. I have had a bad few weeks with her as one night she fell out of bed at 2.30am and the ambulance didnt come till 5.30 am. She was not hurt but she weighs a lot and I cant lift her. She also spent a week in hospital last month. Sis been home while I have been away and as usual she left Mum with a cut leg which will take weeks to heal ( happens every time )
Also last month I went ot Nice for a few days with my sisters and brothers were told they were in charge. 1st night there had a call from careline at 10.30pm even though I told them I was away. I told them who to call. It appears she could not turn off telly as my brothers grandchildren go in there and fiddly with the remotes!! Then careline phones back to say they didnt need to come. Anyway there then ensued a load of calls from other brother who had been called demanding my huisband go and sort it. Unbeleivably he called my son in London for hubbies mobile and then called and was really abusive, In the end he went to Mums at 12.30 am by which time she had gone to bed!!. I had to take a valium to sleep and my 4 days away were ruined. I have now blocked him on my phone and facebook as he sent me a very abusivre text about my family and that I had profited from looking after Mum and dad for 8 years !!!0 -
What's the chances of a day passing without the constant moaning about the weather ? As I thought...None !
It's more tiresome than the heat !!

1x Red Bull Energy Drink Cans (8x250) £7.37 £6.77
The problem with that though is it is a price increase from the £6 offer price it was, after going up in price in between, before. Got excluded from the list about a month ago as Sains then turned on to be on £6 offer. It is the Sugar Free version that should be £6.77 - the regular version is even more expensive: both are a price increase from the offer price of earlier.
Don't be caught by things like this - they brought out the Red Bull cans packs to the front of one of my stores when their price was now more expensive than the £6 offer they were a few weeks before!
I think it was £6 - I may be wrong about that. The current prices are certainly more expensive than whatever the offer price earlier in the year was, as the products failed to get back onto the list for that reason.0 -
I'm just in time to say Good Morning!
We had a lovely 3 days in Italy for my cousin's wedding. I ate and drank an awful lot, and we had time for some sightseeing around Milan too. It was very hot and I am covered in mozzie bites. It was great though.0 -
Morning all
I've had a £5 marks e voucher arrive and I seem to vaguely remember doing a little survey whereby you had to log on via facebook - its my FB email anyway ...
Does anyone else remember this or have I just made this up
In OHs shopprizes last week there was enough points so I claimed an amazon voucher . Then yesterday I realised it hadn't arrived and I could not even remember what day it was claimedso I contacted them. OH then said to me last night "Have I forwarded this to you" and it was the Amazon voucher which arrived 2 days ago ....
