Morning.
So sad durham, sorry to read your post.
That's so sad as well enterprise.
I woke up in the middle of the night remembering I had a hospital appointment on Friday! It was even in my diary, this has never happened before.........curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -
Good morning everyone.
Durham, so sorry to hear your news. Its the family that suffer who are left behind. Please make sure everyone talks about it and not skirt the issue.
I had a friend that took her own life a few years ago, left 2 beautiful girls. So many people just don't know what to say and avoid you when it happens.
Thinking of you all.0 -
thanks for the hugs & comments.
I see it as a 'moment' of thinking about it & carrying it through.
My sister cannot think of any reason behind it, they had just had a family holiday been for weekends away & at no point had he said he was depressed or feeling like this, so didn't talk about it. Nobody that knows her well is avoiding her or the family it is just hard not to say something that upsets her
the other day text how u doing. then sent another saying stupid question. There is just no words.
feel Sad for any1 that is goin / has been through this or feels like this.
Totally leaves a domino effect behind, for the ones left behind to pick up those pieces.0 -
Hi all not been logged in for a while have been so busy in rl, but have caught up now. so hi & hugs to everyone.
In rl had some very sad news. my bil ended his own life, nobody seen it coming, my sister and her girls are devastated. I feel for them so much, their whole life just changed in that moment.
And every1 was doing the self blame game.
He was their everything, they had been together since she was 16 and married at 18 would of been their 20 year wedding anniversary this year.
So sad.
So sorry for your loss. My OH attempted it twice in his bad depression and drinking days. The 2nd time my son had to break down the bathroom door and hold his arms up to stop him bleeding to death. My daughter took a massive overdose 5 years ago but survived.
We did not see either of them coming. Make sure they get some counselling especially the children as it can fester and lead to problems later on.
My daughter got 6 months of counselling after a 6 month wait and was the best thing as it has taught her to deal with her black days. But she is happily married with a lovely daughter and her black days are getting fewer. OH been sober 10 years now and his bad days are also few and far between.0 -
Hugs all round this morning I think. Xcurl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0

Morning all!
I spent the weekend camping in Dorset. The weather was stunning and just perfect for camping. I even swam in the sea for the first time in a long time in the UK.
I'm so sorry to hear that Durham, what a terrible situation.0 -
I've never done click and collect in store - can you then return to the store or is it still post back returns only?
I have used the freepost returns address about 4 times and never had a problem.
I've never sent anything to SD by post, (don't shop there often), and if I've bought anything in store and it didn't fit etc, they said it's only exchange or credit voucher (no cash refunds).
Does anyone know if this is still the case in store, or the same for freepost back?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
When you freepost back, did you pay by bank card, or gift card?

Afaik store is only credit note whereas postal return from online purchase is real money back. We mostly do online as bigger range better prices and order multiple sizes and keep what fits.I think....0 -
