We got it instead yesterday and in the afternoon you could see the haze as well.

How awful for the wildlife :(

I have to disagree I think it will take years to recover. It's not a forest fire and whilst the adult birds will have been able to escape the fledglings won't and there are a few ground nesting birds up there, the short eared owl, meadow piping, curlew but its all the voles, frogs, worms etc that will have a knock on effect on the birds of prey that feed on them.

I didn't realise the breeding season was so late there :(, the birds have long fledged here!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

If you are the owner of the car, they have to prove that you were driving it at the time. If not, then you can say that you weren't sure who was driving when it was parked. ;) The onus is on them to find out. There are several templates on MSE to help you to do this.

I also find your customer service very good :T

Morning tweets. That's good to hear. Glad we're looking after you. :j

Have I mentioned the Direct Debit Manager on our website? This gives you more control over the arrangement including being able to change the monthly payments. Great way to keep an eye on things and adapt payments to suit different circumstances.

Well what can I say Malc I thought you promised me I could be your poster girl :p

That's ok I will hand the job to MHOC :D

I'm sure we can cope with two poster girls. How about one for electricity and one for gas. Maybe take it in turns. I'll have to sort out a rota. :D

  • Morning all! Thanks for the heads up on the Magnums. My account doesn't have one but my husband's does. Sadly our freezer is absolutely rammed full....we might just have to eat two Magnums each in the supermarket car park. :rotfl:

That's also not even considering the £1.50 TCB on ice cream!! I really should eat some of the stuff in the freezer.

Good morning all, cloudy here at the moment but due to burn off.

My team (Brazil) have long gone out. Apparently the German team have been labelled a disgrace in their newspapers.

Brazil are still in E. They play Mexico in the next round on 2nd July and are now the favourites to win.

    Good morning everyone:)

I tried these at the Good Food show the other weekend, very yummy. You put them on a saucer over your cup of tea and it warms the middles and makes them gooey - another thing for us to get obsessed with :D

Our little Morrisons has built an open sided conservatory type building on the car park to store the gardening stuff and plants etc - despite the wind blowing through it, it must still have been at least 35 degrees or more in there the other day, any plants on display instantly dead!

They are rather delicious. I'll be hot-footing (well, cycling) over there on my lunch break!
