How about printing off some recipes for flavoured gin and including some ingredients, dried fruit etc. I did that last year.:j

Npw I would love that, but the person this is for is a little vanilla, so to speak, and just likes normal gin and tonic.

Thank you, we've spent the last three days remembering all the good times we had, he was so full of fun before the parkinsons and dementia took a hold, weve been looking through old photos too which has helped me remember how he was rather than how he'sbeen these last couple of years.

Hornet girl so sorry for your loss, you have been on my mind for a while as i thought i hadnt seen you posting.

Oh Di, that brought a tear to my eye, when my mam died, over 20 years ago () my OH disappeared when we got back to the house she shared with my late brother etc. He came back with a photo of her, not a great picture, she's not dressed up or 'made up' and he said that's your mam , that's who you remember......

That picture still has pride of place on my mantlepiece, she gets a dust now and again and I tell her the family news.

Not sure if I have actually been much help as just noticed that it's no longer available to buy on Ts direct and it seems lots of other major stores. It was really popular couple of years ago and as I said both my DDs have them and they are still going strong. But as I understood from them a curling wand (as opposed to tongs) is conical with no lever, you just wrap the hair around.

The other huge contraption that DM posted I think is for big wavy hair but if anyone knows different.

Hope you have some luck finding the right thing JTS. :)

    Lord knows.

I was reading today that Google has been collecting location data from every Android phone for the last few months, even in cases where they've had the location thingy switched off, it's been collecting through Google Play.

    Without consent. Of course.

Makes you wonder what else they are up to. :(
