I just settled down with a coffee and a hobknob to watch The Ashes, and had just taken my first nibble when they stopped play early for the day because of bad light
On my DD's Christmas List, she has put "curling wand"
I know nothing about these
So any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thinking of you all :A
Are you sure it wasn’t a lemon puff?:D
Curling wand......hmmm.

You can get the normal type, like a hair tongs, or the 'magic' type which pull your hair in, they seem quite the rage.Jeremiah_T_Stone wrote: »Good morning lovely peoples :hello:

How remiss of me! Happy Birthday TrulyMadly, saversue and silvercar!
Hope you all have a lovely day :bdaycake: :j
Zag....thank you and everyone else for the birthday wishes.
I’ve had a great day.
Work.....that’s inevitable but a sneaky early finish, a hot bath with a glass of Prosecco and tea/ supper out with the family.
New handbag, fabulous Laura Ashley ornamental dish, cashmere jumpers, Molton Brown smellies and lots more surprises....a very special one from a wonderful elite friend:A
A bit of role reversal when DS and DD paid for our meal out. It felt strange:D
Now home to chill with a glass of wine and a catch up with my favourite people:DTo do is to be. Rousseau

Im used to no replies. I have replied to MHOC twice about her knives, and she never replies to me. That poor ignore button must be well worn out

Anyway, G I N
Now I have the attention of the ones who dont have me on ignore
I am making a gin hamper. I have a couple of nice glasses, loads of bottles of fever tree tonic, some gin (obvs) and going t put a lemon and cucumber in nearer the time. I am also trying to get some fever tree stirrers and beer mats to put in, any clues what else I could put in please? TIA “Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I’m afraid I wasn’t able to keep up whilst on holiday as FIL sadly passed away whilst we were away. He was still undergoing a battery of tests and awaiting a biopsy, but when he went in for it they couldn’t do it as he had a chest infection. Treated that and released him after two days and he died at home that same evening
He had been waiting since May for a diagnosis which he never got, even though we were all pretty sure what was wrong. Yet the coroner was able to confirm it almost immediately, although interim death certificate still awaited. Off to see DH’s sister shortly regarding funeral arrangements.
LEJC, so sorry I’m not up to speed but the last I read, from about a week ago, it looks like a (((x))) is in order. Hope you’re ok.
Oh no..I’m so sorry to hear this hg.....I’m sending you and mr hg all my love and best wishes. So very very sad:oTo do is to be. Rousseau
