I'll let you know as we are bound to buy something, though several of us in the group drink far less than we used to do. :A
While I was hunting for clearer information about the card, I discovered a thread saying how Carrefour was one of the more expensive supermarkets...
I've found that it's just like home, you pick your offers and buy the stuff that would be dearer here!!
We go to northern France at least once a year and I have a "WAAOH" loyalty card for Auchan Super/Hypermarkets. Points stay on for 13 months it seems and there are often extra bogof's, 241s , etc when you are there and offers and points are on wine/beer/spirits too.
With these thoughts of France in mind I'm off to make a Tarte Tatin, using whoopsied fruit, of course!
PS, do any of the NE coven remember when we had a Carrefour in the Metro Centre?0 -

very glad that he got through his interview despite what is going on.
Is this the job he does not have to drive between depots for?
Does he just go straight into the new role with no gaps?
The shifts, well you adapt - and not to bad in this heat, hope at 2 before it gets superhot or working until 10 when its cooled down a bit. Winters are worse though - early starts and late finishes ..“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Hi, dirty sneaky lurker here, I don't think it's already been mentioned but HSBC are giving away free Costa drinks to those of us with an Advance account:
https://advancemembers.hsbc.co.uk/freebie/costa-coffee
They've all gone for this month, but something for the diary for Sunday if you need another free Costa in your life.
nice find!“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
