Good morning everyone.
Tweets, hope you find a suitable home for your mum, worrying times.
Update on Harley.
He is standing and trying to run :rotfl:
His brain is telling him he is ok but his legs just don't understand.
I hardly got anything done yesterday, other than the ironing in the garden, every time I move, he jumps up and tries to follow me.
His back leg is stronger than the front, the front one still bends at the knuckle and goes under he has face planted the floor a few times.
He is doing really well, considering only been a week. Very tired after a few steps though.0 -
Dave, the best bit of info in that website is about the Carrefour over 65 discount card as one of our party is over 65. Some people suggest that it also applies to petrol but I doubt that!
The over 65 customer has to sign up to the Club Carrefour with proof of age to obtain the free 65+ card. The VAT discount will be deducted automatically at the moment of purchase. The measure will be implemented across all the retail giant's stores: Carrefour, Carrefour Planet, Carrefour hypermarket, supermarket and express as well as on online purchases.
Very glad to hear about Harley's improvement, Sarah.0 -

.
I wonder if the discount applies to alcohol ...we have had a few happy hours wondering along the wine section in various Carrefour and gasping at how cheap it is to ruin your liver“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Sounds really hopeful re Harley , Sarah. :T:T0

Free laughing cow cheese spread on Shopium, bit confusing, says Tosvo coop on main screen and waitrose coop on product page.
I messaged them regarding this and this was the reply - I think this might be why its on the snacks list at the moment while they adjust it.
Trying not to be cynical here but I imagine that none of my local Co-ops will be big enough to be stockists and then by the time I get to Waitrose the offer will have expired altogether ...
"Sorry for the confusion, there was a mistake on the pink button. Our T&Cs were correct, the offer is valid in Waitrose and Co-Op stores !!!128578;
Please note there might not be a lot of stock in the Co-Op stores this week... and we'll have the Co-Op stores show on the map as soon as we get the list of selected stores!"
I am still eating the last Laughing cow we got free, love the packaging and its nice and creamy and goes well onto the various Jacobs crackers we have had in abundance. And it stops me eating crisps so another saving ..“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Really pleased he is going so well. He is young so he will fight back and get stronger day by day“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. ON COS Onken creamy 450g with 85p cashback, 3 days left - but on mysupermarket its showing as on offer for £1
- might be tomorrows price though if its showing mid week changes????
(even if its still £1.65 it might match Sadas 97p price)
Fage total 0% 170g also free - £1/75p
Hoopers is supposed to be £1.65 if Mr T stocks it - COS £1.10 cashback
Bahlsen moments are still on offer for £1.50 with COS £1 cashback - you only get 6 biscuits  but you only need to eat one, very very thick chocolate
For GJ - Cathedrel city mature 350g and Yeo Valley yogurt might match the Asda price“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
