Saved a few pence there - M do have this but it's £1.75 until today (therefore A today a little more than 10% cheaper). May go up in price in M but it looks like they didn't have this item in the collection stores on Wednesday or, if they had it somewhere, it didn't have a SEL. It's a more specialist product that is only available in some places. Obviously I had sight of it but I do deliberately select my Ms these days to try to have everything I'd want to see.

Talking of this Okra today I was quite annoyed with the picker at Sada cos she substituted the 1kg bag for 2 x300g bags at the same price as the 1kg. I said the substitute has to be at least the equivalent so at least you could have added another 300g bag, but no, she said that is what head office have ordered as a substitute. I said I did not realise that head office were in the store picking my items. She was a bit miffed and said grugingly I will refund them and walked off. Not impressed! but at least I got £6plus back as well as my refund.

Am I getting this right, you ordered 1kg and they gave you only 600g? If so, I am certain that is not what head office tells them is a substitute, you would need 4 bags so as to get at least as much as you ordered and paid for.

Colman's Vegetable Pie Mix 35g appears to be the only one showing 80p and no mbuy on a.com; others showing 80p and 4 for £2 - is it really straight 80p or is it 4 for £2 as all the rest appear to be? Possible vs M at 40p. Seems four versions may compare - this Vegetable one showing 80p and three others each showing A mbuy online - details on page 18. RTC in M has only just gone on - might be okay at this time but maybe getting riskier after Monday.

To be fair to her, she probably was constrained by head office. But yes they should have put at least four bags there if they were substituting 300g bags only - for me even three would not have been adequate. If you order 1Kg you should get at least 1Kg if you are paying the same price - however they don't have to accept this or supply anything if they don't want (though it is goodwill and does make good customer relations). So you didn't get the Okra at all:( - no excuse - people at customer faces shouldn't have grudging attitudes either - it may not be their fault but they are there as the face of the business and should put on a nice smile and be happy to refund if they can't supply a substitute acceptable to the customer. Tones of voice from people may not always come across the right way (more so a problem with me I think, so I generally avoid getting into any confrontation at all:o) and people can misunderstand and take things the wrong way and then react to them. People are human and may not be happy at their jobs; however they are there to serve the customer.

Somehow I have managed to update all I had from M from Wednesday. This is despite going out in the sunshine and not doing anything on the list during the day today. I was elsewhere! The final pages looked a lot earlier and didn't encourage me to update from them, but I kept going and it seems they weren't as much as they looked.

In theory I now have a new list to be able to take to M later today. However I might not do so because there doesn't seem to be a lot expired and I will only have to go again on Wednesday. I might just go and see if the Bud Light and a few other items are off - however I find it very difficult to do an incomplete look at only part of items in M: I end up wanting to know what price everything is, can't leave something missed out and end up doing the whole lot (the part that I can find in my store) anyway. The list now updated here is on the same day that the APG should be on for the the rest of today. Unless I have been given an incorrect M price from my Ms and I am wrong and the APG is right. I had a run of items I was adding to the list on this update a few days ago that weren't online - so there are some items from that that you do need me to tell you that I have got them from M at what price.
