Poor Harley. I had to look back to see what the problem is. Hoping for a smooth recovery for him. You've had a mega load of worries throughout the family (((hugs))) to you all xx

That's what I got the other day tweets but I got 3 packs. Cheapest I've seen around here. Don't know how much Farmfoids are but that's a 28 mile round trip for me.

Join me, feet elevated and a can of Pepsi Max. :rotfl:

    3 for £18 in Farmfoods :)

Wow Elaine.....that's some haul. I went to the seaside one which used to be so good for whoopsies. I hung around for a while and left with 4 packs of Angus beef and a pot of yoghurt. The yoghurt went through at full price so I got a £2 giftcard meaning I got it all free:D

Picked up £10 in wombles but just good comparisons. Nothing stands out:o

Has no one bought beer today?:o

Some of you may remember that I have two ladies with problems whom I've been listening to and helping them. I still see them and I'm getting texts and pictures as they proudly show me what they've bought yellow stickered. They're over the moon at how much their weekly spends come to now and know their families are getting good wholesome meals at a fraction of the cost.

My thoughts to the poorly Elite and those low in mind and body. Step forward, help is out there for support to get you through. Try not to keep it to yourself xx

You lovely lady......great to see you here:)

I got these biscuits today in Marksies.
Half price at £3. Such a pretty tin. I've already given them away so can't check the date but make a lovely little gift:)

Those optional or required cookies (on this case I have a dispute) and managing purposes are exercising me again. I've now got a website, a page on which I would like to read, claiming that ad delivery and selection cookies are "required". As you know, I like to see and hear no advertisements at all so that they are unable to influence me to spending any money at any time ever:rotfl:.

The situation is such that, without accepting the ad content and delivery cookies that the website insists are "required", a claim that I reject wholeheartedly and dispute in every way possible, I can't even obtain a contact address for the website for me to complain and ask that these cookies be optional, or else ask them why they are "required" (when they appear to me not to be absolutely essential and necessary and it is technically feasible to have a website that does not use them and for that website to function properly and to work - therefore they are not required (or essential) at all).

I can't even go to a page on the website for a place to contact the website without accepting these "required" cookies that are not required. Google cache also does not allow me to view the page from the website for some reason.

I'm therefore having to contact the data protection watchdog to ask them to contact the website for me, as I'm unable to do so without being able to find a contact address or form as I will not accept these cookies that it claims to be required when, in my view, they are not.

Far from advertising cookies being required - I know nothing about the details of GDPR and what it actually requires - if it is not then it ought to be the case that it is required to make cookies of this purpose optional and therefore able to be turned off. The website claims the cookies are required. I hope instead the law requires them to be not required.

"These cookies are required." "No they are not - it is required (by the law I hope) that these cookies be not required."

As I suggest, I am in dispute with that assertion (that the ad selection cookies are required) as well as with the claim of the website to the effect that it respects my privacy when to my mind it does not as it wants to pass data on me to advertisers to enable them to delivery ads to me and effectively claims that those cookies are essential when (to my mind) they are not and won't let me reject them (without making the website unavailable to me).

Most people would probably just accept the cookies in order to find the contact form or address and allow them to contact the website if they had a complaint about their alleged necessity (which most people would probably be unlikely to have as most people don't complain). However, I refuse steadfastly and absolutely to accept them under any circumstances whatsoever. I've always been a bit obstinate like that:rotfl:. I'm standing my ground and won't be accepting anything that I don't accept! And I don't accept that these cookies are required so I will not be accepting them - and as the website won't let me make them optional, since it misleadingly in my view claims that they are required, that means I refuse to press "accept" and will never do so under any circumstances in which it continues not to let me reject non-required cookies that it claims to be required:p. So I am at an impasse with the website and unable to use it to find its contact address, to ask it anything or at least to ask it why the cookies are required or why it claims that they are (which is what I wanted to ask). If I were actually able to ask it and receive a response this way, then it might be able to convince me that they are required and allow some compromise. However it seems impossible at present as I am unable to contact it even to ask this question, as that would involve accepting the cookies that I won't accept at least not without a convincing explanation as to why they are required. It may have been so easy and could have been quickly resolved - instead it will have to wait until whenever data protection can get round to contacting the website or providing me with the contact details to be able to do so myself when it is currently receiving numerous enquiries about the new law.

My attitude: you'll have to deal with the data protection office if you can't provide me with any means of contacting you:rotfl:. Do it that way if you like, it's no problem to me that way.

Unsure if I mentioned but I received an eBay credit for selling 3 items during a promotional period. I used it earlier in the week to order a top from the Joules outlet. It was in the sale but I had £10 to pay. It arrived today and it's really nice.

Inside the parcel was a voucher for a pack of Higgidy sausage rolls to the value of £2.60.

I used them in my Sains shop:T

There's a sticker on the front of the sausage rolls with a code underneath. I input the code but I wasn't a winner. However it appears that losers are getting Higgidy vouchers:T:T I went to claim my voucher but forgot I was on the iPad and because there wasn't a printer attached I lost it, without knowing how much it was for:o
