We have lost the sun here, cold and miserable again - yes even though its 17 degrees its cardigan weather :(

We had a lovely video chat with eldest child, her and her OH are enjoying a lovely holiday (honeymoon) out in Thailand - their wi fi is much better than ours. There villa has a little central courtyard with a little plunge pool and an open air bedroom and bathroom - the loo has a privacy net curtain but even so its not easy to enjoy a relaxing soak in the pool when your other half has a gippy tummy and is making full usage of the loo behind the privacy curtain :rotfl:

Hate to burst the bubble, but I dont believe they do any more. :(

    Edit:
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, so dont shoot the messenger...

    The details are:

P&O Cruises bookings that are booked by (inclusive of) Tuesday 12 December 2017 will still count towards Princess Cruises' Captain's Circle Membership.
P&O Cruises bookings that are booked on or after Wednesday 13 December 2017 will not count towards Princess Cruises' Captain's Circle Membership.
Passengers who have previously sailed with Princess Cruises will still have their completed P&O Cruises sailings count towards Princess Cruises' Captain's Circle Membership and will not drop in loyalty tier due to the change on Tuesday 12 December 2017.
If a passenger has P&O Cruises sailings history but zero Princess Cruises sailings history, they will show as a new Princess Cruises guest against any bookings confirmed after Tuesday 12 December 2017.

I just wish I had done a princess cruise before then to get my days transferred, lost that chance now.

I think that is one way of thinking you cant get in the habit of doing - thinking there is always a tomorrow or a next week and you can put jobs off until later. I think its even more important to be on top of the normal household drudgery and the endless paperwork and always be in a state of readiness.
You never can tell what the next day will hold and quite possibly it could be something fun :j.
For instance last week I got tickets for the Good Food show on Thursday lunch time - after a bit of thought it was decided on going on Friday - nothing desperately waiting to be done so off I went on Friday morning.

(and also another reason for not procrastinating - someone I know died in their sleep on Thursday night/Friday morning - so for her there was no next day - so better to do things sooner rather than never ....)
So true, I was actually thinking of that when I posted.
My aim is too have the house guest ready in under half an hour and holiday ready within 12 hours and emergency ready immediately!

Thanks , best not to go there :o
Yes we arrived home after me, him and my sister teasing his jeans off in heathrow car park and him sitting in his boxers and t shirt all the way home as it was all through the dressing and his jeans, my sister was going to take us a&e but he couldnt go through with the pain, needed to take them off himself.
So we got home about 10, had a cuppa and he rested we took tubi grip off, rested then took the bandages and dressings off and OMG even more had popped up
He said it will be all the p iss heads there i will go in the morning then about 12 said come on lets go.
So we go and wasnt too busy and got seen in an hr, straight on IV antibiotics and pain killers, in a room on his own then said he was being admitted and there was a bed on the ward
They said it was acute cellulitis and he would be there a couple of days i left at about 3.15 got in bed about 3.45.
I rang at 9 and the doctor was just there, rand my sister and then they rang me back and said he was coming home
I get washed and dressed to go get him.
They are now saying as no infection it is sunburn, they burst them all and dressed them(but it i al coming through).
He asked about a sick note and the doctor said no reason not to go workhow is that going to happen when he cant get no shoes ? and reluctantly gave him a week.
    He is in agony
Thats life as we know it

As SSM would say, 'oh flip', I would say something worse!! Poor love! There is no way he, or anyone, could go to work without shoes .
It seems you may have to stay in wet and windy UK!

Hopefully it will heal quickly now he is home and can rest.

How the devil did he get that bad though, not as if you have never been abroad before
