Good morning everyone. Happy Sunday. It was very quiet on here yesterday.

Kettle is on :coffee:for anyone wanting one.

    I'm dying for a cuppa:D

It is very quiet here but the night shift girls with their choons melted my heart a little. Maybe this place will never be as busy as it used to be, but it will always be " home " for lots of people:A:A

Well I've got to get up and face the aftermath in the kitchen:o It was party night again and it went really well. We opened the 50 year old Dimple and caught up with the friends we've had since childhood.

Everything went swimmingly until everyone left and Captain Chaos (mr TM) started to clean everything away. Taking an armful of bottles and cans out to the recycling, he dropped the blooming lot when he attempted to free his hand to open the kitchen door. Glass went everywhere from a shattered wine bottle and beer dregs soaked the floor.

I started to clean up but gave up and crawled into bed about one:o

Maybe the fairies will have been in the night:rotfl:

Good morning all, woke up to a sunny day but cloudy now.

Actually had a little rain overnight!

    Morning hope everyone is well.

I've a question regarding my printer if anyone can help me please.

I've recently purchased a Samsung Xpress C430W laser printer and I'm wanting to print some 200g/m paper. It just keeps paper jamming. But then every so often one prints. I've tried altering the paper settings but it's still jamming. Any ideas please. I've been at it 2 hours :o. Tia xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

    Good morning all

We have an invite to DS for dinner. Dh is in Bolton for another race so may or may not make dinner depending on when they leave today

I feel marooned as he took the car :( but it would not have been fair to have them travel in the van. DS will come and pick me up if required :T

Shopping trips all on hold till tomorrow

I am not getting much done on this retirement malarkey but the days do seem to pass effortlessly. Really need to get onto something more demanding than old episodes of CSI type TV

Not so good new on pain stuff I have to see a neuro surgeon about my back as that is where the pain in stemming from

    Take care
The retirement malarkey does take a bit of getting used to doesn't it? I guess I started out thinking 'Well, there's plenty of time to do that tomorrow!'
We are slowly, and it seems to be very slowly, refurbishing the house. I think I got things done quicker when I was working full time.

I wouldn't go back though and I make sure that I do things I like or try something new.

    Just enjoy.
