Ive been around for a long time but just do not get much chance to post due to caring for my mum. I have been reading about u caring for your mum and I thought I had a hard job ... but you seem even more busy.
My mum has dementia and I have stopped working to look after her.

My mum is physically fine but need s to be kept an eye on all the time cos she always wants to go out...

oh well... just a short intro...

Afternoon all, just got back in from my youngest's cricket tournament I have burnt my forehead lol

I've had enough of my job lol, people making me jump through hoops dates given in for docs appointments etc all ignored and then no one to change shifts with. I'm meant to be in for my 1st shift on hospital ward thurs and work have said no. Everytime I want a day off to do something else even though I can work the rest of the week and give them plenty of notice they always say no and ignore it. My days there are numbered I think, I've never been a quitter but somethings got to give...!!!8230;!!!8230;..

It is hard work isn't it try make time for yourself that's what folk keep telling me.

My mum is in a carehome at mo I not visiting til Thursday she got visitors til then so I am having a rest.

I live in Oldham so not far from you.

Are you dizzy ditzy friend from here ? T D her initials

I am not stopping work I couldn't look after her full time when she goes home.

I got the chocolate filled ones and yes they are in individually wrapped and dated 04/07

Hi Tweets... No I do not know anyone on here now... used to ..but dunno wat happened..nvm..
I think some are on 2 fb groups but not too sure.

I am the only one looking after mum,, and shes also making lifr difficult by not going into a home for respite care.. she just will not go..
I need to cook for her everyday cos we had disconnect the gas to the cooker and lately the heater too.. so dunno wats gonna happen in winter ...she does have central heating but she always switches things off or pull the plug out.

so stressed..

My mum is always losing things or saying they not there .

I must have found her bottom teeth god knows how many times. Last time was yesterday .

Also she had lost a slipper, I found 3 pairs in her room so took pic of them and went and showed her said pic.

Cant you get someone to visit from social ?

I hope someone can help you on here its not nice being stressed and you will make yourself ill .
