    Hi Tweets..

Ive been around for a long time but just do not get much chance to post due to caring for my mum. I have been reading about u caring for your mum and I thought I had a hard job ... but you seem even more busy.
My mum has dementia and I have stopped working to look after her.

My mum is physically fine but need s to be kept an eye on all the time cos she always wants to go out...

oh well... just a short intro...

Maybe we can be of assistance in the future... I live in manchester..
    :o

Your confusing me now. This is a pic of them on the tree still and they look like what I posted.

Well, I'm confused now! We definitely had a fruit that had a white outer skin similar to a conker shell, then that orange skin, and was white inside. We were told it was a lychee. It is a long while ago, we did not get a picture of it although I shall check later.

I am trying to find pictures on the net but not working!

    Am I going mad
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Hi Tweets... No I do not know anyone on here now... used to ..but dunno wat happened..nvm..
I think some are on 2 fb groups but not too sure.

I am the only one looking after mum,, and shes also making lifr difficult by not going into a home for respite care.. she just will not go..
I need to cook for her everyday cos we had disconnect the gas to the cooker and lately the heater too.. so dunno wats gonna happen in winter ...she does have central heating but she always switches things off or pull the plug out.

    so stressed..

    bless it is hard.

my mum has Alzheimer's too. after she took the gas fire apart we took all the gas appliances out of the house and replaced with electric heating and a microwave as this is the safest option. my mum refuses to go in a home i dont blame her...... but i have learnt one thing i would never want to be a burden on my kids. i think what makes things worse is that she never did anything for her own mum... i cared for her... and she was rather a crap mum to us....... but as they say u cannot pick yr family..... sadly

    Good evening Elite :hello:

A beautiful sunny day for those who love it :D. I've been sat outside under a tree with mottled sunshine and shade so not too hot.

Are we all remembering our water intake and keeping well, I hope so. The heat plays havoc with my feet unfortunately but it's the type of thing one learns to live with :rotfl: :rotfl: I'll have to borrow. Mr AJs flip flops if I don't take care.

I've got a few pages to read to catch up, so off I go, but first

Hugs to the Elite poorly and those feeling low in body and mind. Your always in my thoughts xx

Sorry to hear you've reached this stage with mum. My mum had Alzheimer's and we'd got to role reversal. I was fortunate to get in to 2 day clubs and just gave up one day work. Mind you I was part time anyway but being the closest to her it was down to me to run around and find her when she went missing,

Getting her into a home was difficult and took time but I got her there in the end. I'm here if you have questions, pm me or message me xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
