    Morning all. Bubbs, the hotel sounds fantastic. I remember staying in Sandy Bay one winter (in chalets but a quick Google suggests they are no longer there) and we walked along the road to Catalan Bay at night to go to midnight Mass on Christmas eve. I have never forgotten how wonderful and beautiful that walk was!

    Haven't got much time to look at the rest......it's granola and yoghurt for breakfast and I need to leave 20 minutes munching time:rotfl:

    I haven't been able to bring myself to buy "fresh" pineapples here since we were on holiday in Thailand, we went over to a coral island by speedboat, the island was uninhabited and small enough to walk around, and we were served fresh fruit on the beach. Pineapple tastes sooooo different, and even the lychees were delicious, they were that fresh that they had a second skin on that we didn't even know about, they have a pulpy white shell/skin on that is similar to a conker shell. Let's just say that the ones in tins are absolutely nothing like the fresh ones. The tropical fruit we had there was like having a little piece of heaven in your mouth :D
