Snap....I'm unsure what's happened but I'm sad to hear you have some bad news. This probably doesn't help but it's a tough road of ups and downs.

    Thinking of you:A

There's not many emails making their way through to me these days.

GDPR has put paid to that:)

But I've just received one in my junk inbox with a voucher for £10 off a £30 spend, valid until 11th June :)

    Morning all :)

Tried to pay my Amex bill the other day and got a message saying it had not been possible to complete the transaction and to try again. So I tried again and it went through ok the second time. Checked my bank account this morning and it has gone through twice
More crap to deal with

Chances are it didn't go through twice, just that they tried taking it twice and there was an interruption in the transfer process so it is temporarily ring-fencing the money

It'll probably be released in a couple of days on its own so if you can afford to wait....I would just wait

Poor soul had his watch stolen. allegedly worth between £5k and £15k. Newsworthy because "he" was robbed A tenth of that money would have put a lot of us in financial distress.

Could someone explain to me why people buy these sort of things, to me a watch is for telling the time. Bought mine 10 years ago with clubcard points at Goldies, £100 would have been the cash price. It is solar and , well, tells the time. Is it vanity or is it wanting others to be envious? I lack understanding of how people think, but have a strong regard for social justice. Could anyone here walk down the street wearing such a watch and see people who are obviously in need?

End of wee rant. Will check Son offer later in the morning.

    I haven't worn a watch in 7 years.

Not since the strap broke and I couldn't be bothered replacing it :o :rotfl:

Not been away yet bubbs, been suffering with hay fever/allergy ... everything has been malfunctioning (sound like a car). My eyes have been really itchy/swollen and my sleep has been abysmal ... and my non-existent patience at an all time low :rotfl:

Been spending much less time on laptop and I am useless on phone.

Is it next week you are away ? Hope you have a luverly time :D xx

Pleased to see Covent Garden Soup email (s) in some inboxes.

Sad to say no coupon though :(

Never had any GDPR notifications off them but glad they haven't forgotten me :rotfl:
