I was expecting a phone call from the hospital today with the results, butt they never phoned. So instead of phoning them, I’m burying my head about it

I've been having trouble with my 'at'sign changing to " and my 'pound' sign changing to # - usually fixes itself if I re-start or overnight. Now its stuck and won't change back - any ideas would be appreciated.

Had a look but can't find a solution, suggest you post in Techie thread, include the make and model of your computer and the OS you are on.

Mac? If it is:

I don't know if yours would be set up the same but at the very top mine looks like this:



You might see a US flag, if it is tap on it and change to a UK flag.

If you don't have that then go to the apple symbol, top left corner >System preferences > Keyboard > input sorurces > British.

If british isn't there then select the +- button and find it.

Hopefully that should help.

I'm using Windows 10 not Mac. I've tried searching and there is a lot of advice - seems I need to change the keyboard settings to English but its not fixing the problem !

I've just shut down and re-started and the signs are back the right way now - possibly whatever I did needed a re-start to take effect. Thanks for the replies.
