Why is it that for some companies who said if I didn't opt in by yesterday I would be removed from their lists ... are still sending me emails today .

This GDPR is not all it is cracked up to be :D.

Damp & dreary here (weather :rotfl:) cats at a loose end as no sunbathing today..
Don't want to jeopardise it but Slackbladder cat who wees the bed every 16th of the month hasn't yet.... :A

Watched Innocent yesterday whilst conquering the ironing - enjoyed it but recording cut off 30 seconds before finish  I had to sit through many ads on ITV player to watch the conclusion :o

So Fourp's holiday sandals which are doing the gardening in well worn, the ones I bought the same to replace but he wouldn't wear them as they squeaked.. so I returned them.. then he left his outside & a cat weed in them :o so back to store but now sold out..
So I spent all day Tuesday online trying to find reasonable doppleganger sandals...
I came across a web site which are selling Coolers footwear for trade price  + VAT & postage - so hopefully today the new sandals will arrive - priced all in at £16 & some pence. :)

If he complains - I'll wear them myself on holiday :rotfl:

Nice find - you have to add on vat and £2.95 for postage but even so. Its a nice simple website. They have means, ladies and comfort fits eg Womens have leather sandals for £6.50 and mens start from toe-posts for £1.
I've got 2 sandals in the basket at them moment and the total is just under £20 .... just trying to talk myself out of it :)

Yes, the "oh dear don't you love us any more" emails have started up. I also tried clicking on some of the links this morning and they are still working so if you didn't get around to it yesterday, its not the end of the world.
I've also had a letter from Fenwicks this morning with a permission envelope to be posted - and yes I have already said yes to Fenwicks :)

Well nearly, I haven't heard a thing from Covent Garden Soup/Hain Daniels wanting to keep me signed up :(

    Wonder why
