    Meal deal did not work for me. Thought it might as the paella didn't trigger the deal on the scanner but another one did, got rid of scanner and went through manned till and it came to £10 :(

    I am not sure if everyone read about my shock and annoyance at getting "premium Texts" on my mobile. Also the difficulty in looking for a refund etc.
    I admit I didn't do much after a rant to a Virgin Mobile advisor.


    Then this month while checking my finances I saw my DD coming off for .... 10p :eek:
    I then checked my online account and I am now in credit with credits for "Messaging Correction : Premium Rate" having been added.


    It looks like my call had been looked into and these charges have been refunded, silently, without telling me.


    I have not ensured that a block on all chargeable calls/texts/internet/international has been placed on my account.


    If anyone else has issues, the best site to go through may be :

    Is there a way of putting this block on or do you have to go via online chat?

    I am thinking that any chargeable calls I should make when I've got the oooooo2 sims in the phone.

    I've also been in negotiations via live chat with three regarding a credit that should be on my account - twice its been promised and its still not showing, might try again now.

    I used the telephone and called them free on phone, took about three minutes and they will send confirmation within 24 hours.
    Is there a way the have a record of the chat? Maybe use emil instead, so you can keep copies if needed in future?


    After the pain, I now know that when I go for renewal etc in a few weeks, if I move network, the first thing I will do is block these things AND get confirmation that I can use if ever a dispute.

    Interesting. This might be worth nectar point collectors checking out

    My nectar deals feed only has 1000 points for Virgin Trains but if I search for Virgin (either on the app or website) I can see 2 separate offers for 1000 points on East/West :j :money:

    I went via my account on the main computer this time so I should get an email with the conversation transcript - they now say it will be added on June 12th. We will see.
    They said to check my account via my online account but it does not give any more info than is on the app.
    The chap also reminded me how to check to see if I have the block things outside of contract - all OK.
