There won't be any queues in supermarkets tomorrow (according to this, point number 10: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-43920630) - everyone will be watching the Royal Wedding.

(Or at least the queues will be "lacking" - that's not the same as saying there won't be any at all:rotfl:.)

Elite points. 2 cup finals and a wedding. Go to whoopsies

on offer in Asda 4 for £6

You can claim it every time it comes round :).

If you apply it to your account you have until the middle of next week to chose a film (from memory).

But I couldn't find where to add it to the account without choosing a movie first?

Also 3 for £5 in Mr T - so 67p each after cos but perhaps less via apg
    I think....

Nothing for me but thanks .

    What was it for ?

It was only for a soil rake, but DD has no garden tools so every little helps.

OH decided it was a good idea to let the birds out. They did not want to go back in, but they ended up so tired they were stepping up onto a perch we held so we have made progress. A bit more work in the cage before we do it again. The cage is big enough for them to fly in so we can go as slow as we need to, try letting them out again in a few weeks or less.

If anyone did this it look like they'll pay out but you might need to chase them up first. This is the standard email people on HUKD are getting back when they enquire:

"Thanks for getting back to us.

We work really hard to ensure we have great offers for users as we love helping people save money. However, when you got in touch to query why your reward status had not progressed, unfortunately our investigations concluded your reward did not track and did not meet out terms and conditions.

After receiving an unexpected number of similar queries, we decided to investigate this further as something did not seem quite right.

We looked into this further, and discovered the purchases placed through TUI's sister sites, such as excursion.tui.co.uk were not passed through to us by TUI and so they have not been attributed to VoucherCodes. This is why we were unable to verify your transaction for the reward. However, people who placed their bookings through tui.co.uk have tracked and are on their way to receive a reward.

In light of our findings we're happy conclude that we will be approving your transaction as a one off gesture of goodwill despite us being unable to track it.

Your voucher will be available after 60 days have passed since placing your order as per the terms and conditions of the offer, if after this time you have not heard from us please reply to this email and we'll help.

Hope this explains everything and please accept our apology for any frustration and confusion caused.

    Kind Regard"

So we have to chase them up?

I am worried about the Wednesday windfall Very offer as well. My orders have already been delivered and collected but Ive not reached the verification stage yet ...

    Here we are:

    https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2018/05/yanny-laurel-hear-sound-audio-explained-science-spd/

The "...clip that, depending on the listener, sounded like one word or the other - or in some cases, both." Or, in one case, neither. They fail to state that option:p, the one that applies to me. "...or in some cases, both", full stop. Full stop they say. No mention of hearing neither:rotfl:.

There's also now two more audio clips. I am staying on Clip 1 and really listening to it and trying to decipher it before I move onto Clip 2. This is because, I'm told, Clip 2 is a less distorted version of Clip and, once you hear the less distorted version, you then may go back to Clip 1 and you won't hear it as distorted again.

It claims that "When listening to the first one, you hear white noise." No I don't - I don't hear white noise at all. I can hear clearly distorted words - to me, "white noise" would be clear sounds of noise, such as, in the olden days, an analogue television set that wasn't tuned into any channel. That, to me, is "white noise". This isn't white noise - it's something where I can definitely hear some words, even in some distorted form. I have now listened several times and tried to work out what they are. Bearing in mind I've only currently heard Clip 1 and not gone on to hear Clip 2 yet (and afaik I have never heard it in my life before), I am moving towards deciding that Clip 1 is saying "It is Wednesday evening". There is something that sounds like Wednesday at the beginning, the bit about "evening" I am not sure if it is that but it is starting to sound a bit like it - and perhaps more so the more I listen. Although perhaps I am deciding it is that, I am now starting to hear what I think it is. Wonder if it turns out to be something completely different:rotfl:. I'm sure we shall see if I am good at correctly decipher what is alleged to be white noise or not. To me it's defiitely not white noise - there are words there in it, even if I can't be sure at the moment precisely what they are.

Not sure if I want someone to listen to Clip 2 and post what it says or whether I should listen to Clip 2 first and then go back to Clip 1. I feel it may affect the results of then listening back to Clip 1 and, once I've chosen one of the two alternatives (of someone posting to tell me or me going to listen to Clip 2 myself), I then can't go back and choose the other one as the Clip 1 is then "spoiled".

If I am starting to hear "It is Wednesday evening", then I am hearing a clear phrase from Clip 1, let alone the second clip. Perhaps I hear a clear phrase from Clip 1 and the second, alleged to be a "clear phrase", will turn out to sound white noise to me:rotfl:.

Or maybe it's about Cambridge? Is there something saying "Cambridge" towards the end of Clip 1 that I can hear? (I've not heard Clip 2 yet.)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I've heard the second clip. It is nothing at all like what I "heard" in the first.

    :rotfl:

Now to listen to Clip 1 again - maybe I'll hear what it really said now?

EDIT: Actually that's amazing. I now go back to Clip 1 and I can now hear it absolutely clearly as what Clip 2 says. :huh:Don't know how that happened! I've never experienced that weirdness at all afaik - having heard Clip 2, I now hear Clip 1 completely clearly and without any difficulty - Clip 1 definitely what Clip 2 said now and Clip 1 now sounds to me completely differently from what I heard it before I ever heard Clip 2. I mean totally differently, as if they have changed the audio of Clip 1 to Clip 2. That is amazing (and I don't often find things that I think are that).

No, I can hear the correct phrase now, nothing about Wednesday or Cambridge, when I repeat Clip 1. I am going to refresh the website page there and try again - as I don't believe they haven't changed the audio after I went and heard Clip 2. I bet they haven't - it's just amazing! I will even reset my router to make sure it's not doing anything with my IP address and changing what I am hearing when I now click on Clip 1 after Clip 2.

I'm now going back to Clip 1 and trying really hard to hear Wednesday or Cambridge in it but I can't - I can only hear the right phrase it really is, with little distortion at all now. Clip 1 doesn't sound distorted like it did every time when I heard it repeatedly before ever hearing Clip 2.

Tried Clip 2 again then back to Clip 1. Clip 1 does sound more distorted than Clip 2 but both now clearly have the correct phrase in them. How can my brain do that and be unable to re-hear Clip 1 the way I first heard it?

Trying again with Clip 1 now. No, I can hear the correct phrase in Clip 1 when I play and play it again. I cannot hear it at all the way I heard it repeatedly before ever hearing Clip 2. I want to rehear it how I heard it the very first time I heard it. My brain somehow is not letting me do so and I am unable to do so despite trying really hard to get it to sound really distorted and like the unsure thing I was thinking it originally might have been. Bizarre:rotfl:.
