Can mhoc not just start washing the ones she has instead of keep buying new ones:rotfl:

no I have to keep buying new ones so Ive got a stash for the lean years when they are not fashionable.

The other problem iis that I have the dark jeans all hung up including the new ones in readiness. The white ones are still in days so they dont acquire dust. I then forget where they are or which bag and then start looking for more :)

I also like the jeans with embroidered flowers on them but they are all skinny straight legged ones so no point in starting a new collection.

I think I saw some "normal" ones that were embroidered in M&S, not cheap though

    Good morning.

My inbox is full of requests for me to resubscribe to mailing lists, due to GDPR changes next month. It is a great time to have a tidy up - ignore any reminders for those you don't want and by the end of May email traffic should drop significantly :). Or you can of course unsubscribe now if you want.

Yes its driving me bats. Its not just a case of clicking yes to stay on the list they also want you to reregister and go through your details and what you want to subscribe to. Some even ask for a new password.Very tiresome.
Inevitally something vital is going to be missed out.
I need a wet afternoon to go through it all and do a mass delete.

Confession time. I still have my entire collection of jeans with embroidery from a previous era when I was still a size 12 before the hormones wrecked my physique.
All neatly folded on the top shelf.
Possibly its time now to see if I can part with some of them or ebay them ...

thinking of a cruise to norway in mid to late may. p&o are about £1000 each for a balcony for a week. bit too much at the moment :o

We have been a few times in May and Norway is gorgeous, very early spring. It is very expensive - you wont get £60 or £70 a night for a 7 day Norway trip,
They always include Stavvanger and Bergen plus one or 2 smaller ports. These are nice and easy ports you can just go for little walks straight off the ship.
The excursions are good but everything connected to Norway is expensive.

Just because it is free doesn't mean it is worth getting ... Wow .

It looks like the puddle outside my grandparents coalshed!

... and you are meant to drink this stuff?

This was the good thing about not being able to get WOW - my nerve would have desserted me.
I am having enough trouble with the botanics stuff - lurid orange colour with turmeric sludge at the bottom, shake vigorously and gulp it down, yuk!

I still have a tiny pair of cut off shorts I hand embroidered. I will never get into them again, but am not parting with them, they hold memories :D

  • Morning all!

I've just been down to the allotment which desperately needs digging over so I can sow some seeds. It's still too wet though :-(. At least the plants that have been overwintering are still alive, I've got onions, broad beans, chard and spinach down there.
