    Afternoon peeps.

Various cereals £1 box in T.
    Bran Flakes 500g.
    Special K 300g.
    Rice Krispies 340g.
Frosties as well but only the other 3 I bought, so unsure of weight.

    No mags at all.....

    Ah, those £1 prices:D.
I must be way more harsh than you as I see £1 on 500g Bran Flakes and think Smartprice Bran Flakes [Strike]88p[/Strike] I have just seen have gone up to 90p:eek:. There have been 500g Bran Flakes at 55p in Lidl. M's Savers 500g are 57p and I would have hoped for 10% cheaper - unfortunately A's of that pack size are standard range so it had to be 500g vs T that were 60p and therefore 54p. Someone else then put me to shame by finding some reduced stock even cheaper:o. T now gone up to 70p on non-whoopsied 500g pack since, so no hope Avs T now and presumably reverting to Lidl unless I happen to come across some reduced stock somewhere cheaper.

With no trace for this in T online, will it compare against M?:rotfl:

Special K 300g has also been available at £1 in M. That's what my SEL has kept saying anyway - it was originally an RTC about two or three months ago (weeks go by!:rotfl:) but has gone to regular £1 since (that's what I take from a standard SEL that just says £1 price on it). I doubt they will have the M price on the APG though, although since I doubt it they then probably will! I was down to one damaged pack apparently keeping it in stock and keeping the SEL there for me yesterday in the one M where I've ended up with for the last several weeks. I did have the product in two stores a few weeks ago (and in one of them not in a place that instilled confidence - being an aisle end clearance shelf that APG collectors I think would not take prices from - I think they only check the regular main aisle shelving). I've been down to one store for the past few weeks that, fwiw, does have it on the cereal aisle shelf, although I've generally only being visiting four stores.
 I should have waited around for a few hours, or returned today, as that damaged pack will surely go onto RTC shelf and be offered cheaper? I bet some store already had it cheaper several weeks ago as that's what seems to happen potentially with every national RTC item in M - national RTC items go onto cheaper store-specific prices on clearance shelving by stores seemingly wanting to get rid of them quicker (usually happens a few weeks after I first spotted the RTC, which was probably when it started - subject to it being in my initial stores in the first place).

As for Rice Krispies, my price expectations - or rather price demands, above which I refuse to buy the product - have gone down a great deal since big packs of A's Rice Snaps were offered for clearance at 50p a year ago. That has taken my price per unit down so much that I rarely buy any rice cereals as the prices asked are now always way too expensive in comparison to that - although I did succumb recently and overpay a bit:eek: on a Rice Krispies 510g pack that I found at 99p whoopsie in M. On £1 for 340g, that would be like me seeing a price of £1.50 on the 510g pack:eek:! _pale__pale_No thank you, that is way too dear for me:rotfl::money:. It's paying over three times the cost:eek: of A's clearance rice snaps. Obviously since that bigger pack has gone, and the small packs now left at way expensive price, I have been refusing to buy any rice snaps ever since.

The Frosties on whoopsie are almost always more expensive than the standard price of Frosted Flakes in Aldi (not Lidl where their different weight works out slightly more expensive) - and anyway why would we want all that sugar? I don't buy Frosted Flakes or Frosted cereal anymore now:money:. And the versions targeted at kids that usually require mbuy purchasing to pay £1 for each, too expensive as it is cheaper just to buy one box in Aldi.

"It's great to hear that you are a member of the Supersavvyme community, although I'm disappointed to hear about the problems you have been having, so I would love to help you with this.

I know at the weekend there seemed to be a few problems with our website, as this is such a new process there are a few glitches to be ironed out. It took me about twenty times to scan a receipt at the weekend. So please persevere and don't give up. The rewards out way the frustration (well sometimes) :D"

They have validated one of my receipts but not the other one. I was half hoping They wouldn't as I now have to try to get to a fiver:o
