Mini Coke was glitching a few weeks ago then went to full price in A. Now on 5 for £1.50 mbuy according to a.com (and showing in the offer) - so worse mbuy than previous one: in effect meaning you can get previous mbuy price of 4 for £1 but now also need to buy an extra one at more than full price 50p:eek:! Currently straight full price in M afaik.
I would have to check my facts but I think M did something similar on Pepsi 1.5L bottles several months ago. They were very briefly indeed on an mbuy that worked out at better price per unit and then went to an mbuy where, in effect, you could buy the same mbuy plus the full price cost of one = the new mbuy price. This 'getting you to buy more and pay the full price (or even worse) cost for an extra one' and it works - stores have an offer of "10 for..." that is twice the cost of an individual product when on half price offer - and people buy ten and in total pay double price on each of the ten:rotfl:!0 -

Cheaper:( but not 10% cheaper and still end up overpaying, IMO, on several items.
Pay £3 for downsized 10 pack Birds Eye Beef Burgers - should have found 12 pack on reduction at £1 in M a couple of months ago (best of luck - I never had any). They still pay £3 - they are only 'obtained' for £2.70 after APG on this shop to us.
Muller Corner at 6 for £2:rotfl:.
"Small" Fairy WUL, increased in price when put vs M, should have bought much larger bottle when on offer in M (now expired) last week.
McCain Chips - should have got 2 for £2 in Farmfoods (have been straight £1 elsewhere before).
Hobnobs Biscuits - bigger pack size at £1.50 in M works out cheaper I believe. No good taking 262g pack to 10% cheaper than £1.35!
Kitchen Rolls - they really ought to compare against S at £1 but I do not think they do - issue with sains.co.uk not stating size or weight or something, should have bought or possibly still be buying (could still be working) two packs of double size standard A or standard descorated A vs M 2 for £2.
They overpaid on the cucumber.
They should have bought 2Kg Silver Spoon sugar (four times as much in M for less than twice the price of A on the 500g).
In fact they bought two McCain Chips at £1.75 so no excuse for not getting 2 for £2 from Farmfoods.
Daz Washing Powder - they paid same price for 22 washes in A as getting 40 wash box from M would currently have cost.
In fact I could just about highlight every item on this shop:rotfl:. Milk 4 pint - 6 pint (or even 2 for £1.50 milk from Farmfoods) works out cheaper. McCain jackets - should wait for £1 offer prices (surely little excuse on a frozen item that can be bought at offer time and stored for several months?). 750ml Bleach should have got 1L bottle when that was £1 for some time at M (currently expired, waiting for it to go back on which I bet it will do at some point in the next two months). The list goes on and on...
Walkers crisps - bought at £1.65 - ridiculous. I managed to find a reduced pack of Sharing 175g Walkers Ready Salted Crisps bag on the clearance shelf in M today at 25p (a rare find indeed) - store specific yellow sticker. No reason for reduction, long date although it the packaging didn't look perfect. But absolutely fine - I will have to teach other people here that they are 175g packets - that means they must last at least eleven separate servings and not the entire pack be consumed in one go:mad:! I am hiding them and will ration single servings to them over several days (as well as at least half for me). If I don't, they will keep going and open the large bag and just consume until the entire bag is gone.
Fox's Chunkie Cookies packets at £1 each:eek:_pale_.
Soreen 260g loaf at £1 - 320g mega loaf at £1 in M would be better (in the terms of more product for same price as A - or actually it has now been obtained for more than its £1 A price if this womble is claimed - that's the downside of also now obtaining the 6x25g crisps for 90p instead of £1.65).
The OEPs seem useless in terms of APG amount at the moment - £2 price in M was too expensive for me to take any note of have been sub-£2 on rare offers in the past and with A being £1.89, not 10% cheaper, seems pretty hopeless for 9p APG.
Those Breaded Nuggets may be the ones that I have at £1 for M - that a Christmas reduction - obviously long gone from many Ms I would suspect.0 -

Any opportunity to promote and sell something:rotfl:.
As regards money-saving - probably way too dear for what it is. It's like Christmas or Easter items - they of course sell for mark-up prices prior to Christmas/Easter when the product inside and its ingredients doesn't change merely ecause of some of Christmas or Easter packaging. Just label it as "very special" and "Royal Wedding" and it can sell I suspect for much dearer! For money-saving purposes, avoid:rotfl:. Or get on RTC on its final UB date, or preferably after the whole event is over:rotfl:.
As ever, cynic says, anything with supermarkets (and possibly advertising in general) should be read the complete reverse of what it says (in order to save money, rather than spend it which is the purpose of the advertising) - "Keep an eye out as we introduce...". NO!:p I shall keep an eye out just before they are about to be taken away and discontinued or just on their UB date - any time the complete opposite of their introduction (possibly the worst time in my view to be looking at, at least with the possibility of buying, these products).0 -
