Yesterday I was parked up at A, when a middle aged couple walked to the car parked beside me. He was carrying 2 cases of lager in both hands. He signalled for her to get his car keys out of his trouser pocket.
This she did....this was directly outside my window....I was at groin level:eek:
And she started fifddling with his doo da
I tell ya what, it put me off me lunch:o

That's not what you hope to see in the car park!!0 -

Sarah :A so sorry to hear your news - how stressful for you
Well I saw my NEW Oncologist yesterday - I can say that now, as yesterday he agreed to to take over my oncology care, so I'm transferring hospitals
I couldn't post last night as my emotions were all over the place. I secretly was hoping for a miracle, that the Oncologist was going to say " Mr Tombstone, the scans are all clear - you do not have cancer anymore" It's a silly secret wish I know, especially with an aggressive Gleason 9 with metastatic spread at diagnosis - but I still allowed my mind to entertain the scenario.
However, I had also feared the worst, especially after what the radiologist had said to me after my skeleton scan, in conjunction with the new pain I was experiencing recently.
So there was no miracle, however the most important thing is that they were not bad. There has been no progression in over 6 months and my lymph nodes are a bit smaller than they were
So the scan results were goodI will take good and keep fighting
Unfortunately, I should have had bloods taken last week to give a complete picture , but were never arranged for me. Had them taken yesterday so awaiting on those results now
It is NOT a silly secret wish at all, its called hope and its what you have to fill yourself with. There may not be a cure at the moment but they are learning more and more each day!
I have heard of three, yes three different people who have had their tumours shrunk to virtually nothing and I promise you not one of those people ever expected that to happen.
So Mr Tombstone let me tell you that whilst I'm alive and well enough to do something about it I will, for you, for FC, for Northerngeezer and for everyone that suffers at the hands of this vile disease. I cannot believe we are hearing statistics of 1 in 2 people will get it :mad::mad:0 -

Suggestions please as to where I can get a reburbished dyson - I reached the end of my tether this morning with the emergency vaccum so I got Errant son to unearth the very ancient henry and it is missing a curved pipe and the one dust bag I have is vanished ..
I got a little vaxx in January and all its done is vex me - it brushes the dirt along the carpet to the edge in drifts but does not actually suck it up. I don't mind emptying every day but the filters block about 3 times a week so it needs surgery  I do more vaxx mending than actual vaccuming.
No idea what sort of dyson - we had an old purple and lime 04 about 20 years ago - mostly it just has to be able to collect very fine cat hairs, granola and biscuit crumb“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
