Marks sparks - usual set of 20% off various food items.
OH has a20% off desserts - I am wondering if this would work with the dine in offer - usually I get the ice cream which is about £4 off-the-top of my head so an 80p discount if it works ....
I've got a 20% discount off hot drinks in the caf! so I am wondering what is the most expensive hot drink they sell. I am thinking that a £3.50 drink less 20% so take off 70p brings it down to £2.80.
I have Marks caf! coffee vouchers worth £2.65 so I have to get a drink worth more than £2.65 after the 20% discount so just another 15p on top in real money
I don't think Marks do drinks as expensive as £3.50 ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I am out of the loop for potato prices but today the Morrisons wonky potatoes which were £1 last month are now £1.18 - or 2 for £2 (and not very good quality either)
wonky carrots were 35p
Oh! It gets even more mysterious. I think you must have either a version of M Wonky Potatoes 2.5Kg that is at £1.18 and 2 for £2 or an incorrect SEL with that pricing on it, as M Wonky Potatoes 2.5Kg in my Ms (maybe a different BC?) are showing me an offer of 87p. Either that or my version have now got an incorrect SEL of 87p:rotfl:.
Afaik, M Wonky Potatoes 2.5Kg are 87p. However, your post has now made me aware that this may be one BC. In fact I think there are different versions around, as I have seen a different type of potatoes in some Wonky 2.5Kg bags in one store (and may well have had £1.18 and 2 for £2 that I ignored, thinking it to be an incorrect aberrant SEL when I have been generally seeing 87p).
So - I think it's not correct to say that the Wonky Potatoes are now £1.18 and 2 for £2. I think some, or maybe even many, people have them at 87p (maybe due to being technically another product of identical name?). As for whether "the Wonky Potatoes that were £1 last month are now £1.18 and 2 for £2", are we sure that these are the same Wonky Potatoes that were £1 last month and that they are not another "Wonky Potatoes 2.5Kg" that are on a different BC?
So - I could have been saying "Wonky Potatoes are now 87p" and you be saying "Savvy you are wrong - you have an incorrect SEL!" - now it turns out both of us may be right as we may be at cross-purposes talking about different products that have identical descriptions - there may be more than one BC, although I don't even know whether there is or is not. As far as I knew, from SELs and not even scanning anything, they (or, now, my most common version of Wonky Potatoes) were 87p although I am now aware due to your post that there seem to be others at another price (different BC I suspect) in some other M. For all I know, there could be a parallel universe of every product on different BCs and another M at the other end of the country that I never visit having all the products at different prices to me - and I don't even know whether online, even if it matches my prices, is using prices that reflect some store which, although it is at the same prices as my stores, there could be a store in another area with completely different prices to everything online now. Now, anything's possible:rotfl::rotfl:.0 -
Has someone got the parallel universe in which their M Lamb Leg is £5/Kg instead of the £10.55/Kg in all of my stores so far:rotfl:?
Indeed, there could well be old stock around in some (now probably rare) place and at £5/Kg - perhaps the word "PRICED" on the SEL of my stores is an indication that other prices are available elsewhere - it's therefore whatever stock is left in my stores and now all of my stock is £10.55/Kg with £5/Kg having gone from my stores. And, wouldn't you know, there are two (or more) separate products at £10.55/Kg as I have a "Welsh" version and a "British" version (depending on which country I am in) - I didn't take BCs so I don't know but they could well be separate BCs? As the description is different, I have now got the product under different names so will treat them as two separate products.0 -

Talking of ice cream . There is a oppo link going around that you can get 2 x £2 off vouchers for oppo ice cream in Sains. Not sure if this was posted when you were away or not.
Today I got 3 oppos = £9. Handed over 4 x £2 vouchers. Was going to do a ooops I gave u too many if one didnt go through. But they all went through. So 3 tubs of oppo for £10 -
Yes I agree I don't think the cushelle is any better than the Nicky elite.
How many sheets per roll are they in comparison? I thought the nicky was full of air.
To clarify "SHEETS" not "SH*TS", and full of air and not gas.I am very surprised that you have not had the Co op card before - we have been having quite a bit if fun with ours.
Its useful to work out how many Co ops you have on your normal routes - some are very good for RTCs (but none of mine are)
Also make sure you give your cards to the till girl in the correct order - firstly blue Co-op card, then the blue NUS card, then your payment card - The NUS card is a method of payment card so it needs to go after the Co op card - girl on the till told me this.
I dont think there is any pattern but randomly you get till spit MOCs, quite short dated and these seem to have quite broad usage
Getting things in order is a must for a lot of deals. Bella is the 40% first, then Droid payment. Harvester is AA then Droid.0 -
Played around with the travel insurance through cuddly toys, got a quote for £1.02 for a uk trip for 3 days, bare bones.
So probably worth it for anyone with a significant other.0 -
