Just popped in to say thank you again everyone :A your support is very much appreciated.
Had the usual issues with finding a suitable vein - had to go in 3 Times and !!!8220;dig around !!!8220;
2 coffees and 2 medium pasties £13.10
Excited though as learned I am having advanced 3D imaging - my previous 2 bone scans have been 2D only.
The Nuclear toilet is !!!8220; the wrong way around!!!8221; - was waiting ages to go as door showed red bar. Thought this meant engaged - silly me, it means vacant and turns green when someone in
Should be called in soon - been told it takes about an hour - an hour of lying still! o:Fighting Recurring Cancer0 -
How is everyone doing with reaching their Amex targeted spend. I got my card at totally the wrong time, just after Christmas - the previous 3 months were big spend months and it would have been effortless.
Instead I got it just after Christmas and my date for completing my target would have been this week so I had to do some serious spending before we went on holidays. I've got quite a stockpile of gift cards to use now for various stores - hopefully our builder will be here later this month so the B&Q cards will soon be used up.
The Amex bill has just gone through, one massive bill this month, so it will be a frugal month to make up for it.
MY bonus Amex points were automatically added onhile we were away and I've converted them into Hilton Honours points towards some hotel stays - possibly before the builder takes up residence.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

With card came 2 x £1 off £5 spend on co-op food
1% of what you spend is given back to local community.
10% off for NUS Extra card holders (excludes certain items and Coop electrical)
You get 5% on your membership account far co-op branded food and services ALSO on selected C0-OP electrical items https://electrical.coop.co.uk/content/membership/member-offers/
As it is dated, it may change monthly.
Bonus to that is price match, https://electrical.coop.co.uk/content/terms-and-conditions/#20
20.8 onwards, seems to match against Argoose, curries, Mr Lewis and AO
I am very surprised that you have not had the Co op card before - we have been having quite a bit if fun with ours.
Its useful to work out how many Co ops you have on your normal routes - some are very good for RTCs (but none of mine are)
Also make sure you give your cards to the till girl in the correct order - firstly blue Co-op card, then the blue NUS card, then your payment card - The NUS card is a method of payment card so it needs to go after the Co op card - girl on the till told me this.
I dont think there is any pattern but randomly you get till spit MOCs, quite short dated and these seem to have quite broad usage“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Also used my £6 Danone coupons and a random £1.50 cc voucher.
So 30.96 at the till but then it took off 2.30 BG on the Activia creamy yoghurts so I had to nip and get more bits. SA very understanding.
So 30.35 shop after BG, so after mocs I paid 18.85.
Which reminds me Ive been sent ones for £20 shops - no idea what to spend £20 on. Usually I pass them along to a local friend.
Not a MOC to my name and nothing exciting on cashback either ....“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

But then I am used to Nicky Elite (9 for £2, or 18 for £3.99 at HB)
In comparison with Nicky Elite, the Cushelle is thinner, well, it is only 2ply (I think) and Elite is 3ply.
I found it interesting that in the brand tests for Andrex, saying in the questionnaire that you have ever used Nicky Elite actually prevents participation in the brand testing. Which implies that the industry knows full well that Elite is better.
Feel free to use any of the above.
Yes I agree I don't think the cushelle is any better than the Nicky elite.0 -

The O3 offer that ends Sunday night of "buy 2 couighees and get one free cake slice to share" should probably work with 2 fwee coughees using stamped cards. Worth asking before ordering.
Not as generous is it lol0 -

Thought you would have used them the same way as S coupons? Iyswim.

Yes, Tesco tests are free:

And free if you meet one of various criteria, including being over 60: https://www.nhs.uk/nhsengland/healthcosts/pages/eyecarecosts.aspx0 -
