Whats more important are the comparisons elsewhere which I think will disappear in the next day or two ;)

    But hopefully not !

Noticed that Barefoot PG and Torres I bought today are on offer in M until the 20th March so not long to go on some.
    Unless savvy knows more?

I was told about the deep snow in 63 but don't remember it, it would have been about 1972 or 73. We did have unusual weather there, basically listen to the forecast and expect the opposite, and NEVER go out without a rain coat :rotfl:

Think we had really deep snow in 1967. Mum tells the tale of walking my sister to school in the snow with me in pram. Born 1966 but sister started school in '67. Dont get anyone started on 1947 apparently we haven't had snow like it sine (so I am told DM). I remember loads of snow and huge snow drifts in 1982 and pinching trays from school canteen to go sledging.

I remember snow in Wales in May 1980, just a chilly spell that went on for about a week.

But March 2011 or possibly 2012, not sure which, I went to visit a friend in Essex and it was scorching, a real heatwave, we were even having breakfast outside it was so hot.

That would have been March 2011. I remember sitting out alot and then the volcano happened and sitting out became so quiet and peaceful. It shocked me as no where near an airport but the skies became so quiet.
