Think we had really deep snow in 1967. Mum tells the tale of walking my sister to school in the snow with me in pram. Born 1966 but sister started school in '67. Dont get anyone started on 1947 apparently we haven't had snow like it sine (so I am told DM). I remember loads of snow and huge snow drifts in 1982 and pinching trays from school canteen to go sledging.fairclaire wrote: ». I do think a chaise lounge is a good description of you though. But March 2011 or possibly 2012, not sure which, I went to visit a friend in Essex and it was scorching, a real heatwave, we were even having breakfast outside it was so hot.
That would have been March 2011. I remember sitting out alot and then the volcano happened and sitting out became so quiet and peaceful. It shocked me as no where near an airport but the skies became so quiet.
