My other worry is that my old Scottish Power account was about £30 in credit but what happens if the latest readings put it into debit - can I still switch with a debit reading?
Might give Scottish Power a ring later to see if they will take a payment over the phone, as a just incase
They will take an extra payment if they need...you can't go with a debit hth0 -
Good Morning all I ll be glad when the weather improvesEnterprise_1701C wrote: »Won't we all, it's taking the P now.
Yes it is. What worried me though was when news reports started calling it The Spring Snow. This is not the Alps, fgs.
Mini Beast was bad enough but it seems an aberration to invent a new seasonal name for it!
7 degrees here, feels like 0 in the wind. But at least if you park in a sunny spot the car will feel a bit warm when you get into it.
That's if you can get out at all, I'm aware other areas are less lucky than here.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
We have had four in our street this winter, the plastic sometimes comes away when its windy and another point we are pondering - where do they get the money ?
Locally it costs less to add a loft room than the stamp duty to move and also adds more value than it costs = no brainerI think....0 -
Coincidence or not, after I checked the Zeek app for Ticketmaster earlier to answer curl girl's query, I got an email offering a further £2 discount on £30 spend on Ticketmaster.

Just received delivery of a "new" pc for my dad. He uses it for internet browsing & horse racing. Also Farcebook.
Bought a refurb from Amerzoom https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B076VTQCGY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
£209.99
Numpty here forgot it doesn't have WiFi, so buying a dongle for under £20.
Specs aren't too bad, Windows 10 (worth about £70) refurb 22 inch monitor (£50) Unpacked it and after a few updates it works perfectly. Selling his wee netbook for £75.
HDD only 160gb, buy more than enough for him.
All in all a good deal IMHO.0 -
