We have 19 days to cancel the talktalk. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Getting shopping delivered would be cheaper than a taxi and you can all of the bulky stuff stocked up.
Then she can examine everything as the chap brings it in the door and check to see if its all in date and useable
No would take her 2 hours to check it if she allowed me to order online :cool:Enterprise_1701C wrote: »But then she doesn't have tweets waiting on her hand and foot. Sorry tweets, i know she is your mum, but she makes me really angry.
She makes me angry nearly every day . Got to ring 3-30pm I ring one day she rings day after. When I ring cant get her off phone. When she rings sometimes 10 mins and she gone that's when she decides its her turn to ring.Could you order a delivery and get it delivered to her adress. Meet van outside then carry it in. She will be none the wiserDelivery cost might be cheaper than taxi too.
If I did this neighbours would be watching and tell on me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I'm amazed at how good it's been at melting the ice under the snow I've just cleared off my paths and driveway. I'm kicking myself I didn't buy more :rotfl:
Walking to the chickens was fun this morning. There are drifts of 18-20 inches  I know there are places with worse but we don't get much snow and we definitely don't get drifts :rotfl:
A brief break in the snow before its starts again at lunchtime. No public transport running until at least lunchtime. snowman building in the garden later I think
Stay safe folks
Can I just ask which Tesco Homeplus it was please ? When ours closed down I was so disappointed....got many many bargains there. It's now yet another furniture shop !!0 -

Got to share some exciting news. You know the job interview that went rubbish on Tuesday, area manager just phoned and asked if I would like to start on Monday:j the exact hours I want and they did not ask for marriage licence.
Bit embarrassing it's opposite the first job.. Funny thing I also got offered another job. I applied out of desperation but did not want. It was in a bookies.
My lot laughed so much as I would be convincing people not to gamble. :rotfl:0 -

well done, persistence pays! - lets hope that the weather clears a bit at the weekend and your road is passable so you can get there on Monday and you have at least one vehicle that is serviceable - and that you don't go falling over again over the weekend - honestly you are such a liability until Monday is here we will be holding our breath :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
