I have ran out of coffee beans!!! Got to go out now!Dizzy_Ditzy wrote: »A few years ago when Tesco Homeplus closed down in my area they had Eze-melt for 10p. I bought a few and they've lived in the cupboard under the stairs ever since. Until this morning!
A few years ago Hellfords had huge bags of it on offer for £1, so I bought about 8 bags. In about 5 years I have only got through 1 bag, so think I over-stocked.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Thanks Di. Hope all goes well.“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -
Hey elite! Newbie here. I was wondering for all the elite wombles out there have you had an issue with Morrison!!!8217;s coming up as a flat N/a against whole shop?
Found a lush windy corner yesterday with the snow drifts. Not stepping out today but feel twitchy knowing there might be abandoned receipts that need rescuing. Also will miss out in the COS crackers. Never mind. Could be worse. Lol
Let me know if you!!!8217;ve had the same thing with receipts? Is it worth checking them another day? Thanks for reading.0 -

I'm amazed at how good it's been at melting the ice under the snow I've just cleared off my paths and driveway. I'm kicking myself I didn't buy more :rotfl:
Walking to the chickens was fun this morning. There are drifts of 18-20 inches  I know there are places with worse but we don't get much snow and we definitely don't get drifts :rotfl:
A brief break in the snow before its starts again at lunchtime. No public transport running until at least lunchtime. snowman building in the garden later I think
Stay safe folks
We live by a road that is reasonably wide and its a bus route One an hour Normally a smallish orange bus but today it was a normal single decker It must have struggled as cars are not correctly parked0 -
Good morning everyone
Well my son has ditched his car this morning at 4.30 am. trying to get to work, the snow isnt that bad by us, but as we are a little village surrounded by fields, we have lots of drifts, he got caught on a road by a drift and it pulled him in as he was trying to turn. Luckily he is ok, only damaged the wing mirror on his car, and a passing tow truck pulled him out.
I have an appointment at the hairdressers this afternoon, and I hate driving in it, I rang to cancel, they offered to collect me as they have a 6 week waiting list for appointments.hornetgirl wrote: »Thank you :A
Sadly the walk was cancelled yesterday as it was deemed unsafe for it to go ahead
For all the lovely elite who were kind enough to sponsor me, the default position is that all money raised will be transferred into our team target for next year’s walk. However, if anyone wants their money refunded, please contact me with details and I will forward them to the Big Issue Foundation.
It’s made me feel so sad. We’re still going to go ahead with our team pre walk meal as we have members who have arrived from abroad especially for the event. Thank you all for your support x
Sorry to hear your walk got cancelled, better that it did and no one got hurt.Dizzy_Ditzy wrote: »A few years ago when Tesco Homeplus closed down in my area they had Eze-melt for 10p. I bought a few and they've lived in the cupboard under the stairs ever since. Until this morning!
