The route covers a large chunk of central London and takes ages to organise. Logistically it’s virtually impossible to reschedule, so the decision has been taken to use this year’s route for next year’s walk instead.

The money goes straight to the Big Issue Foundation as soon as it is donated. When they talk about next year’s target, I think it’s more of a paper exercise to encourage people to commit now to doing the 2019 walk. I think they will lose out as a result, because people might not be so motivated to fundraise next year, but for now they will get all the money raised to date, just as if the walk had gone ahead (subject to any refund requests - I hope there won’t be any)

If you’ve got a full McDonalds/Nero/Costa etc coffee card in your purse or wallet, please think about giving it to the next homeless person you see.

As pound coins do not tend to fit together very well necessarily, I will go for £157. Why they're not falling out when it is that way up I do not know :eek:

Once the temps go below a set level SWEP comes into place - around here beds are found at the YMCA for anyone rough sleeping. I read though this morning that in Manchester there is some reluctance by some to come off the streets.

Appears to possibly be some sort of in app charge or something according to Virgin. No texts actually received. Some comments I have seen is that possibly a rogue company may be getting telephone numbers from somewhere and charging. Seems to be little or no regulations and phone companies don't give a bleep.
