    good afternoon everyone,

my shop from this morning aVt

kinder surprise egg 3 for £10 dose not appear on apg
    bar code 4008400231327

but don't think its any better than buying 3 that compare £2 each?

1x Jordans Frusli Cereal Bars Blueberry Burst (6x30g) £1.00 £1.00
0.01x ASDA Grower's Selection Thin Chillies (per kg) £0.03 N/A
0.01x ASDA Grower's Selection Thin Chillies (per kg) £0.02 N/A
1x Cadbury Double Decker Large Easter Egg (307g) £4.00 £2.00
0.31x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Banana (order by number of bananas or select kg) (per kg) £0.24 £0.23
    1x KitKat Bites Easter Egg (245g) £4.00 £2.00
    1x ASDA Semi Skimmed Milk (4pt) £1.09 £1.09
1x ASDA Smart Price Chopped Tomatoes in Tomato Juice (400g) £0.29 £0.31
0.36x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Banana (order by number of bananas or select kg) (per kg) £0.27 £0.27

I've just done the maths to work out whether it would be great buying these or whether I am best sticking to my small eggs that the manufacturers call medium (their small creme eggs must be miniscule to me:rotfl::() that hopefully will have the CB and are fine for the people here with me.

Don't these 3 for £10 eggs work out more expensive per egg with the invisible trigger than they do for a straight 10% off T on one (or two)?

It's "any 3 for £5.60" with the trigger. 3 for £10 then 2x £2.20 back. £5.60 divided by 3 = nearly £1.87 per egg. Buying one at £4 and doing a straight comparison vs T would of course be £1.80. It would be better to buy three that appear and compare against T at £2 each - even if the mbuy gets picked up, that would still work out at £1.80 each.

The invisible trigger is more expensive than buying eggs that appear and compare, whether or not the mbuy number is bought in A - in fact, given the nature of T's offer (a straight 'half price'), it's unnecessary to buy as many as three but can just get one comparing for £1.80 with the APG. Ideally, for a better price, we'd need all three eggs appearing, without picking up the A mbuy, and comparing at full price A vs £2 T. That situation may come at the very end of the offer, when the eggs go OOS but briefly still appear on the APG, and then at full A price, but we'd need a competitor price of £2 to be available at that time.

If the TCB £3 is still available for someone, it may be best to buy just one of the £4 eggs (no point buying any more eggs than that) and get the £2 T comp. and claim the £3 CB.

:mad::mad: I can't get past delivery option. Been in there for 4 hours :o

    :) I've ordered a set from Westminster Collection - no queue & £58.99 inc P&P plus album & completer medallion :)
The mintage is very low so any port in a storm. At least I'll have a set :D

    https://www.westminstercollection.com/p-838A/2018-Complete-Certified-Early-Strike-10p-Set.aspx

But won't give in with Royal Mint.

I got as far as delivery details and just get 404 page not found  I'm thinking Westminster collection is an easier option. I AM giving up with RM :o

It's a good investment for the kids when they're old and cranky :rotfl: I'll still collect them as they appear in my change but like you said, I'll have a complete set anyway :D

Whats wrong with the boiler. There is a thread on a local to me group that keep on about some numbers that show up F28 or F41 on their boilers it is probably a frozen overflow pipe.
This article (from 2010 but still applies) explains it more.

    That's right, 3 eggs @ £10 v 3 @ £2 each would give £4.60 apg.

An invisible trigger just gives £4.40 apg on 2 eggs - so we need a visible trigger to make this work :)

agreed as its still only a saving of 40p for the 3 eggs with having to get fillers, may as well get the 3 in tesco.

There's nothing in the t&c's about having to leave the £1500 in tbw

    Thread here

Most of mine is out already (over several days/transactions).

Thank you, I don't want to leave my main account too short for longer than necessary. I'll sort out the ins and outs over the next couple of days - plenty of spare time as the snow is forecast to be bad down here for the next day or so.
