Spooky, my last few days have been mainly taking up with supporting my (widowed) friend, whose new 'partner/boyfriend' was admitted to hospital on Friday morning in a diabetic coma!! This chap has never been diagnosed with diabetes. She is very much a carer/ feeder and has spent the last 3 days at the hospital with him, offering to take in his sis and mother who have travelled up from London. I'm trying to tell her that now he is in the right place the fact that visiting hours are 11 am to 7 pm doesn't mean you have to be there all of the time. She is also very bossy/controlling, which she knows, but I so want to say now he's receiving care, back off a bit, but she can't!Interesting about Nann breads as I saw something last week on FB where someone was making their own nann breads from just yogurt and flour, just a cup of each - they certainly looked the part.
I'd just bought coconut nann breads from Asda for £1 and felt as if I'd been diddled and I should have tried to make my own.
I've also got a biscuit eater - I dread to think how much processed sugar he puts away in an average day ... And he works with a chap who has to jab himself twice a day and check his blood sugar levels ...
Looking after her, looking after him has meant an extra few veg in the curry tonight to make it 'stretch' and 4 days of feeding her old , white lab and letting him out to do his business. When I went today the 'dog' had left me a bottle of wine and a twix to have with my coffee, I really appreciated this, but know that she can't afford it.
She is now talking about having him come to live with her, I'm :eek: ...
PS my friend is the only person I know who makes her own nann breads0 -

Anadin is part of the illustration online, so I'll try paracetamol at 49p.
I've also got the female anti-perspirant/deodorant offer with 75 points, and their OB bodyspray is only 75p.
Footcare and cough/cold are hard categories though as nothing is under £1. I tried tissues under cough/cold last time but it didn't work.
The own brand shampoo/conditioner have gone up to 90p  so I might try the handwash at 75p each.
Its funny how we all get different offers - they probably think my feet and underarms don't need any attention
I've got the annoying offer again, buy 3 babycare/skincare/bathing items and oddly it seems to be an online offer. I've tried various things in an online basket but nothing comes up with £2 off

:D:D I still have mine
