Good Afternoon, no frost last night and quite bright at the moment here.

I was wondering what everyone is doing to create DD's for Current Accounts that need them for interest, now that Tesco are stopping them.
This is making things difficult for me and looks like I will have to close some as don't have enough regular DD's to go round.

Need 2 each for TSB x 2; HBOS x3: Lloyds; and Santander, 12 in total.
Will probably close Santander, but would like to keep the others going.
I know I could set up charity DD's. but with the amount of money in each one it's not really worth it.

Are there any other account or ways of setting up DD's ?

I've still got one to sort out for Halifax. I set up the DD to pay a credit card bill before Christmas but it was just causing problems so I reverted back.
But following on from a posting on the other thread I am thinking of getting a LLoyds bank account which is going to take a bit of organising but the main hitch at the moment are the 2 direct debits. One could be the credit card bill that still needs a new home.
I also wondered if I could set up a new Park account with a different email address etc but probably not ...

    Thanks for the ideas.
Have already got DD's for Utilities and Credit Card in place and prefer to pay everything else annual.
Chris has given me a link and going to look on that.

And talking of credit cards - if Asda is your one and only supermarket and the place where you get fuel you can get 1% cashback in vouchers

    https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/cards/2018/02/asda-credit-card-cashback-rate-to-be-slashed-for-non-asda-spending

but non Asda shopping you might as well use Amex or your next most useful card

Is this normal price for the ginger biscuits? The gingernuts are useful as cheesecake bases

In my Sainsbobs I thought at first they didn't stock the cake mixes but they were top shelf and tucked away - I think OH is quite keen to have an attempt - I will show him how to do old fashioned butterfly cakes :)

Yes, normal price, but I hadn't noticed the brand Pennywise before as I mostly ignore biscuits. But today, a man had about a dozen packs, so I took a closer look :)

who is our Boots app expert?

The offers updated and I've got
50 points for healthcare - would they work on cheap pain killers?
75 points wyb a dental product - that's an easy one, just the normal Boots smile
75 points wyb 2 Boots toiletries - toothpaste is a toiletry so would this work with 2 toothpastes? Really don't need more shower gel or shampoo or conditioner ...

75 points on £4 facial skincare - pity there is nothing on cashback

With the Easter eggs, or any of the other TCB offers, does anyone try to put through a receipt for CB where the entire shop was bought with an APG voucher?

    Yes. Never a problem

I only have a handful of spares, and I just checked in case, but it isn't amongst them, sorry.

Damn was at the coop earlier for nann breads! I'll look out for them as my dear grumpy one is partial to a ginger biscuit! In fact he is partial to any type of biscuit and is stoically working through the Family Circle and Victorias! And yes, great for a cheese cake base.

I'm new to the 50p hunt, but haven't got that one either. Can you tell me which is the best 'list' to go by?
