    Good morning all

Well that was an interesting nights "sleep" All hooked up with wires etc to a monitor which relayed my sleep info into the hospital
Woke just after 6 am and removed it Worst part was the loops round my ears The remainder of the morning sleep of 1.5 hrs was bliss:j

Back to return the equipment to the hospital before 9.30 this then pick up some from Deb on C&C

See you soon and have a lovely day

    lovecrafting (hugs)

Bare minerals offer. Order over £50 and automatically takes off £50 thanks to hukd.

    Thanks Di.

Got some posh lip colour for birthday presents for DD and her friend.

Wonder how long it will take for the cancellation email to arrive? :o

I am currently leaving VM for Plusnet. VM have tried to call me at least twice a day for the last week. I have not yet taken their call but, to be honest, their CS has been so poor they would have to pay me to stay.

I am hoping not to leave as I have done this retentions dance for years and have always eventually got a reasonable offer. It is just frustrating/annoying/a little stressful the longer it drags out.

The BeeTee offers can work out reasonable - the offers are different depending on whether you go direct/through MSE or Cashback sites. Cashback plus Mastercard reward card can take about £200 off, but note the base price on BeeTee also changes depending which route in you take (so for example Infinity 1 unlimited is £29.99 on some sites, £35.99 on others!). Some suggestions have been made that you can get it into your basket on the lower price but then go through a Cashback site before returning to your original page to finalise the deal and checkout, which then tracks for Cashback, but I haven!!!8217;t really looked at the technical details or whether this is successful. Also noticed they upgraded Infinity 1 customers speeds up to 70mb (Infinity 2) in November, but it is not clear what happens if you sign up to Infinity 1 now as it is still advertised with the lower speed.

I may just order to try to get VM to negotiate, which some also say can work as it moved beyond retentions to a port out team.

As the referrer, I would receive 9000 points for each successful referral.
In return you would get 22000 points on the gold charge card if you spend £2000 in the first three months or 26000 points on the BA card if you spend £3000 in the first three months.

The gold card is the one which DH and I churn between us every six months to keep earning sign up bonuses. There are rumours that Amex are going to extend the time between applications from six months to two years but nothing has happened yet.
The BA card has an annual fee of £195 but if you spend £10k on it in a year, you get a 241 voucher. With this you can get two flight redemptions for the avios of one. We like to travel so this is a fantastic deal for us. First class flights to Tokyo for £1005 total for the two of us wasn!!!8217;t a bad deal we thought :D
Was looking on headforpoints and some are taking the expensive cards, getting the sign up bonus points as quickly as possible (sum up?) and then canx and getting a pro-rata refund on the fees.

I always wonder if even rip van winkle would appear to have a sleep disorder if he tried to sleep with the monitoring kit on....
    I think....
