I don!!!8217;t seem to have any offer for referring the N3ctar card, but have in the past with cards sent through to refer people - I seem to recall 2000 points for referrer and the person referred on top of the 20k sign up (number could be wrong, but bonus points for both).

For Gold you currently get 9000 points as referrer and 2000 on top of sign up offer for referree.

Has anyone had any recent successes negotiating a new deal with VM after cancelling? My year is up and doing the annual retentions dance, but poor offers so far .

I was spoiled last year with a brilliant deal (glitch too but nowhere near it this year so far. I may have to order with BeeTee to hopefully prompt a better deal - has anyone experience of doing this and did it result in a better deal?

Yes, it is a supplementary card . But I was thinking that if I apply for a new Amex cad in his name, the bonus nectar points for joining would go on if I linked his card to Amex. The number will be different to mine. Otherwise, perhaps I should just pick up a new card in Sainsbury and then use that instead - the bonus points would be on a completely different account instead of all together with mine but that wouldn't matter.

I think you are talking at crossed purposes - I think they were referring to a new Nectar card, not the credit card?

I am currently leaving VM for Plusnet. VM have tried to call me at least twice a day for the last week. I have not yet taken their call but, to be honest, their CS has been so poor they would have to pay me to stay.

Yes, I did mean that Anon. We would have a separate Nectar card each but 2 linked nectar cards with different numbers.
