Morning, anyone know the best way to dry chillies?
Got a huge bag for 10p per KG, very thin, green, small, may be Bird's Eye?
Never had any success drying them before.0 -

I have a proper, but rarely used, food dehydrator. Rarely used because it is very noisy, it heats the food with a fan running.
I guess you could dry them long and very low in the oven,
What I do if I have excess chillies though is freeze them whole. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Good morning everyoneMorning all. I have been so ill with a very nasty bug. Can!!!8217;t remember the last time I was this unwell. Headache and coughing mostly. I!!!8217;m still sick but turned a corner yesterday.
Pippo, was it the Instant Pot you were thinking about? I find it truly wonderful for all its features (I don!!!8217;t use it as a rice cooker but DB does), especially the yoghurt making setting.
I have this bug it's nasty, really knocked me off my feet.0 -
