Strangely enough, they sent me a mailer asking me to apply about 2-3 year ago, no idea where they got my details from.

How wide were those curtains, and was it the one next to d/ham extra? TIA

I'm just going to relocate upstairs, couldn't be bothered with the ironing tonight. Another day tomorrow.

I bought a beautiful new duvet cover from John Lewis, felt like silk. Only after washing it did I realise it is 100% cotton and needs ironing.

I won a £20 dine and a couple of Gweggs.

I still have to keep checking until March .

Even with the free vouchers I think Gweggs is quite expensive for many items. I know, never happy ...

Savers Mild Chilli Powder (60g) in M has, it seems, actually gone down - 54p to 50p - whilst Savers Spice (40g) has, it seems, gone up - 48p to 50p.

The English Mustard had, indeed, according to my SELs gone up in price in M - going from 23p to 26p, and that is likely to have a slightly larger negative (for us) effect on the APG as A is higher weight.

I think the Lamb Breasts/Shoulders/Roasts/Ribs etc. in M are in the process of going from £5/Kg to £7/Kg as "old" stock priced at £5/Kg gets bought. They are already showing £7/Kg online. I still had £5/Kg stock in my Ms - indeed in one M I had only £5/Kg stock and no higher priced stock of some of the products - however I had some higher priced stock in the other and, indeed, even worse - £8.50/Kg on Lamb Roast Blade not £7/Kg - same UB date of 22 February on both the higher priced and the £5/Kg stock:huh: - and the stock of one item I also had at the counter, which I'd expect to be the latest price as freshly cut new, said £5/Kg. I do not know whether it actually was - maybe the price is actually higher or maybe the counter stock is a different price to some of the pre-packed stock at the higher price but not the other pre-packed stock at £5/Kg being packed with the same UB date. Again, I have absolutely no idea - in short, if you see £5/Kg, you may buy it - if it is higher then don't - you may, indeed, do even better - even on the originally higher-priced stock - as whoopsies of meat may be much cheaper than £5/Kg - or if you see £5/Kg on display at the counter but the price is coming out higher, make sure you check it and get them to change it to £5/Kg.

I can't put BCs onto my list as there are lots of different BCs, even of the same £5/Kg stock of the same products, depending on the actual weight of each cut. There is stock marked at £5/Kg which has, pre-packed, been priced as such based seemingly on that price by weight, still available in M as at the date of the price collection so the products remain on my list.

For stores that currently have only £5/Kg stock of the pre-packed versions, higher priced ones may soon appear and then exist for a short time alongside the £5/Kg stock. In a few days, I would think, the only stock will be the higher priced stock, date that happens depending on stores, until £5/Kg stock gets produced again for a new round of the offer (last time the offer ended about what seemed a couple of weeks before but started again last week and seems to be a 'one week flash' lasting whilst stocks of the £5/Kg stock last).

There is another what seems a very short-term offer on in M - as I assume to be already common knowledge, it is on Chinese meals that are at £1.50 (none of them seem comparable sizes from A though), although I was informed that Iceland had meals at £1 at one stage. There is one item that might be APG soon - the 300g Egg Fried Rice, fresh version, £1 vs £1:(, and it might last all too briefly if the offer ends as planned today in M. These items went on offer in M last Thursday, so missed the price collection day, and are now due to end in M today. They won't work at the time of writing on the APG, as that will still be on last Wednesday, but might work from later today, this afternoon, but more likely from sometime tomorrow and probably for about a day or two. Basically the duration of yesterday's price collection. There are also some very large meals in M at £5, which I assume are due to end today as well, but neither of them are within the weight range from A and I have not bothered with them for the list. (I've got the details; they are not making the list.)

As for the list, which is running way in advance of the APG, I have only a few items to add from Monday (mainly Valentine's items that nobody is really bothered with at this stage) and that is then set for Wednesday's changes. I have a further round of appointments:( again today, always for other people never myself:rotfl::mad:, so that will take me out of action again for part or maybe most of the day so I will be back later!

I still have to check fully, particularly on some of the SP items, whether they are now likely going to be better versus another competitor, with the price increases in M.
