He had a message from EON to ring them promptly which he did-

Basically housing association set up an eon account, they told eon that my son was on the housing association tariff, (where they pay the standard daily service charge)...but my son is buying his property and has a mortgage and doesn't have any connection with housing association(although there are some of his neighbours who are in housing association apartments)...This has just come to light and they are now being told they have to pay the difference -1k from over the last 4 1/2 years..
What should they do....

I would be telling eon that the housing association have made a mistake and its nothing to do with them. I thought that an energy company can't go back more than a year if it is their fault for not billing correctly. Hazy memory, but something like that.

Quick post as I!!!8217;m out and phone going to die but just to add to the nectar game... I had to get a next £50 gift card and it spat out a bonus voucher so went back in and got 10 x £10 to pay my account and each one gave a bonus voucher so no need for needless shopping.. not sure what others it will work on
