Can you buy gift cards on SS tills?

Don’t know about s but all they do is swipe down the side of the card reader so worth a try x

Called in an Asbo Living today:D

    Lots of children’s bedding RTC

I wanted to use up some wombles.....spreading the love and all that :) and ended up buying household stuff.

We needed some bin liners as we were reaching the end of the ones that were on offer years ago.
    They were 30 for £1.50

Think I might ask if I can just buy 30 carriers for £1.50 instead. They are a perfect fit:o

Home Bargains and Poundland both sell rolls of 40 carrier bags for £1 - plain white ones :D

  • Person next to me in PFS said very loudly that she didn't want any receipts and the catalina at my elbow pumped out 3 vouchers so I asked the SA if I could have them and he said no, they wouldn't work on my card. :(

So I asked could I just look at them ... so he let me look (200pts) and then he swiftly removed them elsewhere. :(

  • Some friends of mine met up for tea.

Annie chose Jasmine tea. Betty wanted Chamomile. Charles thought he'd give the Peppermint a try and Dave said he'd have English Breakfast.

'Very aromatic,' said Annie, sniffing her jasmine tea.

'So relaxing,' said Betty as the chamomile began to take effect.

    'Quite minty, really' said Charles.

'Mine's going back,' said Dave. 'It doesn't taste anything at all like bacon and eggs.'

Dunno, but they do like it when all the other peeps make a fuss of them and buy them crisps and treats. They sit at peeps tables they know when they're having a meal and get tidbits. They're well known and loved in there. :D

The kitchen staff have hardly anything to throw away when my dogs visit. :rotfl:
